We were supposed to get a delivery of landscaping blocks yesterday between 6am and 8pm. So I got up at 5am, which is hours before my usual wake-up time. We kept getting text notices and emails telling us it was on the way. It kept getting later and later, saying that it would be here at 11:20 pm. Made for a long day. Never did arrive. Total bs and inexcusable. I would give them a review that they deserve. We got an email rescheduling for Monday, between 6am-8am, when we will be in Texarkana. Before I call and change it they said it was out for delivery today and would be here today between 2:45 and 3:45. Immediately after I got another message saying that it would be here between 3:15 and 4:15. I don't believe anything at this point. If I could get 3400 pounds in my truck I would do it. I shouldn't have ordered from the Texarkana Home Depot. It and the Longview store suck. The Mount Pleasant store is store all others want to be. Same with the Mount Pleasant Lowe's m |

It should be delivered on a flatbed with a piggyback forklift, let them know where you want the pallet placed and mark it where a monkey could find it....Monkeys will probably deliver it. |

If that is the case, refuse the load...As long as you have a navigable driveway, they should be able to back in and unload it. Unless it is "consignee unload", they should unload it in a spot they can get to "Ground delivery"...I cannot imagine this type of product delivered as "consignee unload". |

Hopefully they show up with a piggyback forklift, no big deal...you might have to flag traffic as he stabs it from the side.
That should be expected from the company considering the country they are delivering in.

He said they had some equipment problems. Which would have been fine except for the worthless automated notification system.

Been there done that… the companies sometimes are over-reliant on the system. As a driver, I always called the customer, but I do not know their system. Glad you got your delivery, now on to you to do the hard work! |
