Dry as a bone in Vegas, that is the way I like it. Vegas floods with 4/10 inch. Because the city and the land around it might as well be paved. We have deep soft soil and lots of streams.

Fog in the morning, quite dense. Warm air over cold ground. Turned out to be a lovely day. Mid to high 40s for the next week or so. Mud season is here! Temporarily at least.

Sunshine and 60 in Longview this today. Finished up with 10 inches even for this rainy spell. Bayous are running high. A little bit more rain forcast for tomorrow but not enough to bother with. At the second dermatologist appt today. Got shot up with Dupixent so I should be playing volleyball on the beach soon. In the meantime I'm waiting for a treatment in the lightbox.

Rainy, Rainy, Rainy, hard to get the puppy Buddy out in the rain, got soaked in a downpour this morning taking Buddy out for his morning ritual. Won’t complain, after last years drought we need the rain. Streets in small towns are flooded, I’m on a small hill, no problem.

My lawn mower (not the DR beast) is a well-maintained 19yo Poulan Pro 42” rider. Still runs and mows fine, but I figgered it was time to lay in a replacement. Visited my local dealer and bought a 52” Gravely zero-turn. Looking forward to a new technology.

Your lips to God’s ears… Baked soil does not absorb like the midwest/ central and eastern states. Beeen in a few monsoons storms in Vegas, it is worse than PHX, because they have a lot more big rock mountains to the west that send the turbulent waters to sin city.

Back home from the colonoscopy and endoscopy in Albuquerque. 12 hours on the road and clinic. Fortunately, a friend drove me in his ancient Honda Civic. Gee, that was fun eight hour ride.
The news is not so good. While the stomach and esophagus appear Ok with no ulcers or tears, the colonoscopy revealed a large mushy mass in the transverse colon. At least I think it was the Transverse and in or near the Heptatic flexure. Many polyps were snipped and biopsies taken of the mass. The Endocrinologist believes it is most likely cancerous. We are waiting on the lab to confirm or deny that opinion. She was able to get the scope past the mass and the rest of the colon appears ok. So, I am back to Albuquerque next week for another CT Scan of the Abdomen at another clinic and chest to see if cancer has spread to other organs. I am supposed to hear from a surgeon about sectioning the bowel removing the mass. Even if not cancerous it is blocking passage of material. This explains why I have had so much pain, constipation, bleeding.
The date of the CT Scan is the same day as when I am to scheduled to see the Cardiologist about my heart problems. I have been waiting three months for this appointment and it appears I cannot make it now. So, I am sending the ex-wife in my place to hear what the Cardiologist found in all the tests they ordered. I cannot be in two cities at the same time. There is very little urgency or cooperation with these medical offices. They are all overwhelmed with patients. It can take weeks or months to see anyone. So, rescheduling is OK but I sure would like to know WTF is going on with my heart. I am hoping that MD will give her an update and what needs to be done.
Thankfully, my ex is still cares about me and will help. Also, another friend has been willing to drive me these long distances. He even paid for dinner tonight. Next time is on me. If is Civic conks out, he has a new Dodge 3500 Cummins powered truck. That helps, too, eh?
