It's an overcast, drizzly day with a bit of chill in it. After nothing but sunshine for about a month, looks like we're in for overcast weather for the foreseeable future.

We finally got rain I was hoping to get the 0.8 to 1.2 inches they had forecast. Instead we got 3.3 inches I think some of the grass seed washed away. 🙁

The grass will grow somewhere. Probably in his wife's flower beds. If it did wash away, it's in the washout in the lot next door/down hill from us. It's too dark for grass to ever grow there. It's also impassable. Holes, quicksand, poison ivy vines as thick as your arm and different sticker bushes everywhere. We only have a fence on that side is to keep the dog on our side. I doubt she would survive.

Probably in his wife's flower beds. I hate when that happens. All the yard beds have been stripped and are waiting for the new borders and soil. The potted plants and the ones in the brick planters are going crazy.

The logging season is winding down, Wednesday showed up and it was 29°, Oh and the machine I run heater does not work and one of the door windows are missing so insulated bibs sweatshirt and warm hat. We got rained/snowed out Thursday. Going over to bosses today to turn wrench. Hopefully in the next weekend or two to bring home a pickup bed trailer. The bed fits my old Dodge Power Wagon. Been putting a little in that fund hoping to have enough saved by this time next year so I can do everything but body work and have it driving down the road by February 2027 when the pickup turns 80 years old.

Great day yesterday. Wife cleaned out the refrigerator and put a ton of stuff down the garbage disposal. Clogged the drain solid. Plunged and snaked no good. Draino Max Gel no go. I went to the hardware store and bought some industrial strength drain cleaner. Lots of smoke and fumes. Ate the seals from the drain fittings. Leaked and ate the bottom of the cabinet out. Drain seems to be open. I have to replace the seals/gaskets in the drain and make a new bottom for the cabinet. May have eaten the garbage disposal as it got too hot to touch. I asked my wife to call the landlord. She just looked at me.

Sitting around dressed in my best garbage bag waiting for Thursday so I can celebrate voting and waking up a year older. On my third full blown espresso as dark as night. Now making espresso is not really that easy when I need my walker to keep from falling down the same goes for making hot food and getting it all back to my desk while dressed in a garbage bag. You ever tried to carry anything while using a walker let me spare you the joy while taking one for the team. Bad jokes aside, everyone have a great day filled with Much Love.

A lot of garbage bag wearing parents a few streets over that is trick-or-treating on steroids...enjoyed some really well-made martinis by garbage bag wearers at a driveway bar for adults...offered a tip, and they would not take it...top shelf martinis too.
For the kids, it was simply an all-out extravaganza, amazing that three streets put so much into a one-night affair.
