Momma is off to downsize the storage unit as the kids have taken enough out of it that we don't need a huge unit anymore. That leaves me to fend for myself for a few hours, Moving a little better after several nights of staying in the bed instead of leaving to kiss the floor as a alarm clock. I wish they lived closer so I could go visit my stuff more often like my favorite chairs and stereo stuff. Yall have a great day and stay out of jail.

I had a little energy today so I put on the passenger side seat covers and cleaned the interior and windshield of my truck. Looks good. Now I have to find a car wash. Getting ready for the big trip next week.

I just got an email from Tobacco Pipes that says they're offering an English blend sampler that includes Margate. Did I miss some news about Esoterica availability in the US?

Listening to Edward G Robinson in Key Largo on the XM App while I'm supposed to be studying.. Did my civic duty this morning and turnout was light because of the heavy rain. Seems the weatherman can't get it right, said we were only to have a drizzle today...

After a rainy/stormy overnight and morning, all those tree blossoms are perfuming the air like crazy. It's like walking into a department store, only better.

Interesting occurrence just now. Eli was in the dog yard, by himself, and suddenly ran up on the deck and lunged at the storm door. Jack does this all the time to tell me he wants in, but Eli has never done it. As I approached the door he kept looking quickly behind him several times. When I opened the door he dashed in. I went out on the deck to see what was going on. Nothing. Just on a hunch I fired a 9mm at random, a “flushing” shot. Nothing moved. Coyotes don’t scare Eli, so I suspect a lion or maybe just a whiff of one. I’ll be especially vigilant when they go out for last call tonight.

Sounds productive to me Ron where are you going on your trip. leaving the 10th for a week in Missouri. You need to go in July-Aug. then you can visit the state of Misery. Had a high school buddy that spent a few months at Ft. Leonard Wood during them months....between the heat/ humidity and mosquitos he felt like he was dispatched to hell. Branson should be fun. This should have taken place in October...guessing that is the true anniversary date though. corncobpipe.com/product-category/155th-anniversary/

Branson is like Disneyland for rednecks you will fit right in. They have a general store downtown that carries just about every metal sign known to man you can waste a good hour just checking it out.
