Branson is like Disneyland for rednecks you will fit right in. They have a general store downtown that carries just about every metal sign known to man you can waste a good hour just checking it out. That sounds like an interesting place to visit.

I long time ago I brought my wife’s old aunt to Branson, never seen so many white sneakers in my whole life, food not so good, but the passion play was wonderful, old Aunt was mezemired by it as I was! ,

Well it does have one of every attraction and it is clean add live music venues on top of that. But its a long way to get there and it is fun to count the Tyson farms along the way. Rumor has it that all of Arkansas was flat until Tyson brought in the farms so now you know what all those mountains are made of.

I don't have enough wall space for the metal signs I already have. Better a redneck than a (fill in the blank)

Interesting occurrence just now. Eli was in the dog yard, by himself, and suddenly ran up on the deck and lunged at the storm door. Jack does this all the time to tell me he wants in, but Eli has never done it. As I approached the door he kept looking quickly behind him several times. When I opened the door he dashed in. I went out on the deck to see what was going on. Nothing. Just on a hunch I fired a 9mm at random, a “flushing” shot. Nothing moved. Coyotes don’t scare Eli, so I suspect a lion or maybe just a whiff of one. I’ll be especially vigilant when they go out for last call tonight. Set your Phaser on Stun. We have a skunk and it reminds us of it's presence every night. Wife wants me to do something about it. I am trying to convince her that I really need a night vision scope for the bullpup shotgun. She's not quite there yet.

I heard that rumor from somebody who knows he also works for Schiff so you know he has to be trustworthy.

Busy day. I had to replace the glass in my topper after a year and a half. First I had to clean off the workbench so I could work on it.

She's not quite there yet. I made the mistake of lead injection to a skunk on the front lawn, with 00 buckshot. My dad said you shoot it you remove it… next time do a long range shot. Sage advice.

Bought a Tonneau cover for my Frontier, really great reviews on Amazon… while logged in my account browsing, 4 days later they enticed me with a 33% drop on price. Jumped on it.

I had 2 different ones on my Frontier. The first was a roll-up. It was a PITA. The next was a tri-fold and I loved that one. I had the high 4 door and the bed was so tiny I almost had to get a hitch-rack for the cooler. Ran out of time so just got a smaller cooler.

Stan Smith tennis shoes. They were great, very comfortable and made of heavy leather. They actually still make them and they aren't much more expensive than they were 40 years ago. I think the price of leather hss gone down because all the new shoes are made of recycled plastic bottles.

Well, dang. More of that white stuff. Only about an inch so far, but it’s still coming down pretty briskly. We haven’t had any snow this year but, the rain however will bring more flooding in the area over the next 3 days?.. Though, It has made the local waterfall a nice place to go to!

Looks like a pretty fiddly job to do. Yep, but I have busted 3, at 380 bucks each. I fixed it myself for 54 bucks and 4 hours. My time isn't worth much these days.

It's rained off-and-on here for the past few days. More of the same, tomorrow. Not enough to cause any flooding or anything. Just spring rains, I guess.

Wound up with a good 8”. Some nice sun at 8:45 AM and the temp is slowly climbing. We are forecast for 38° today and 51, 67, and 72 for the next three days, so this is not going to be around very long.

Rain is generally a good thing, except in California. If you don't like rain, just try a few months without it.

3.5 inches of rain here in the past 24 hours. Should set up a great Wildflower Trail for the end of April. Looks like we'll have good weather for the trip to Missouri next week.
