The only suppliers that I know of is The Road Kill Scoopers. But, while the meat is pre-tenderized the aroma is a little harsh. 🤢

As a youth in rural northern California, I had a neighbor of Italian descent who made Robin meatballs. Sometimes with Blue Jays in there, too. Not bad at all.

Yeah, I came to the conclusion that indeed it is not the same Irene...I think that it is actress Irene Hervey though, the signature on the photo supports that notion...along with an image search. duckduckgo.com/?q=irene+hervey&atb=v391-1&iax=images&ia=imagesI had seen this yesterday in a moment of, "I saw it on the internets, so it must be true"...

My cuz is coming today from upcountry and we’re gonna smoke venison and chicken, drink dark beer, and play dominoes. Might talk a little politics, too, but I won’t be reporting on THAT.

Thank goodness. I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to read that signature as "Irene Ryan".

Another schizo day here. Blizzard warning for 4 to 12 inches. Cold and dreary. 68 clear sunny degrees here in NE Texas today. Sat on the porch and talked to the wife for a while. Brad, the pecan trees are the only trees that haven't budded yet.

The day spent doing chores and wanting a wee bit of chocolate, but, alas, none to be had...So what do you do when you have an unfulfilled desire? Bake a chocolate cake!! That's what you do! Now to wait long enough to let it cool to put chocolate frosting on it before devouring it!
