The gun threads are fine. I just remember more pipe and tobacco content when I first joined. I know I've been posting less in the WAYS thread, lately, because the weather just hasn't been suitable for smoking. (It's going to become even less so, later this week.) I haven't been able to smoke much lately because of my health issues. Besides, I don't know what to say. Everyone here knows everything I know about pipes and tobacco or more. I might have a different opinion, but it's just an opinion. If someone asks a question, 10 people will answer it. Nice to talk about guns with friends instead of the gun forum a-holes that have to challenge everything. All I can add is that P-lips work great.

I have some regular deer hunters coming this weekend. They picked a good one. We have -11 and -15 forecast for Saturday and Sunday. Our actuals are usually a few degrees under the forecast. I will not be joining them, nor did I plan to anyway. This is the antlerless season and we need the fawns. But they are Good Peoplke and I do not wish them ill.

Common Sense by Thomas Paine was published on this day in 1776. It's obviously long out of print.

Heck of a day at the office, which will be continued later tonight.
The wind finally laid down a little and we got back up around 50. I think it's just for today, though. Back down in the 40s the rest of the week. I know we're going into the deep freeze early next week, with highs in the teens.

I see a lot of knowledge spewed but very little wisdom to back it up.

I have a copy from long ago. Also, a biography of the man which I have not yet read and want to. Since we are heading into a snow storm with temps dropping below Zero (F) and day high predicted at 11 degrees, now might be a good time to start?

Looks like a good day to stay inside by the fire for you John. Down here in the foggy swamp it looks like a good day to play Starfield and browse though the National Geographic DVD set and watch for packages so the porch pirates don't steal them.

But Ted Kazinsky had some good ideas. 😉

Poor Ted committed suicide last year in his jail cell. I cannot confirm if he knew the Clintons or Epstein. Just goes to show you cant trust anyone who is Harvard educated mathematics prodigy or anyone living in Montana in a off grid cabin scrawling in a 40,000 page handwritten journal done with a Bic stick pen while hunkering over a pot bellied stove living off game he killed.

On a brighter note, -10 degrees (F) this morning. A brief visit to the wood pile in search of kindling while in my long underwear and a fur hat. With my Swedish Broadhead Axe, I must have made a photograph worthy of eccentrics.

Yesterday we got to 70degrees, calm winds twin son visited us as his job as surgery tech slowed down, his Momma and him winterized the faucets in the yard and wrapped the old Acadian crawl space with black tar paper while I smoked a Tajuae Monster Face 3 on the porch, my wife is an Amazon worker and nothing stops her, seemed strange to watch them work, kinda guilty but I’ve done my share. That’s the story I Garronte!
