Ron, your playlist seems a bit blue. Everything alright?

Country songs should be played backwards much happier that way.

A departure from my recent listenings. Right now it’s Sons of the Pioneers on an LP. Good music is good music. Plenty of bad "music" out there. Human creativity is endless. We are a wonderous creation!

That's a good thing. I listened to his White Sands song after you posted this. Good stuff.

Ron, your playlist seems a bit blue. Everything alright? Fine Urb. Maybe a little bit melancholy, but mostly just wanted to here the songs I used to hear every day.

I moved on to Hank Williams. Can't go wrong with Hank. Hard to believe he was only 29. His career was only 15 years at a stretch.

Ron your last set reminds me of Sunday mornings with newspapers all around the floor back in the early 70s. Like this? I was more like this. 😜

It's another beautiful day here in NE Texas. The hills are covered with clover, the trees with new leaves and the fields with cows.

Good pipes. I tried to watch the movie but the wife couldn't stand it. Myself, I've seen stranger things.

Listening to the CMT awards thanks to the wife...pretty much it all sucks. An antidote.

I looked at who was on it and decided to pass. Country died with George Jones.

The highlight of the evening was Jelly Roll and Lainy Wilson in leather that many bovines had to die to cover her gluteus maximus. I was really waiting for the stripper poles to bring some class to the occasion but alas it did not happen.

The wokes have hijacked country music. You were wondering why I was listening to the old stuff?

Country is only mildly represented in my musical tastes, but these posts got me thinking of Doc and Merle Watson.

A Phil Collins song “Take me Home” by Sugarland and Little Big Town… they jumped many sharks!😂

I couldn't help it. The number one song today. And it's really good.

This:
I'm just absolutely in love with the sound of a heavily compressed Rickenbacker 12 string guitar. I'm lucky enough to own one, too. And after hearing this piece for the first time, I vowed me a mighty vow I'd learn it. It's one of the very few purely instrumental pieces for electric 12 string guitar I could find.

I can imagine it is hard to find solo pieces for electric 12-string.
I tried the acoustic 12-string many years ago. I never could get the hang of picking both strings with equal emphasis (or even at all, sometimes).
