After Issac Hayes cleaned up his sound for the better. Good one! I saw it performed live in an open stadium in July. I was in the proper frame of mind. The purple waves that rolled across the field with the base notes was a great effect.

A Phil Collins song “Take me Home” by Sugarland and Little Big Town… they jumped many sharks!😂 Turning the knob on this one. I must say that although Keith Urban is "modern country", I like a lot of what he does....he somehow bridges the gap between being a rocker and delivering country music. An exception to a lot of others...might just be me, like tobacco, music is in the eye of the beholder.

Remembering the Irish Easter Rising (Éirí Amach na Cásca) during Easter week of 1916.
Daoiri Farrell's version is pretty good.

I was on a flight from SFO to Memphis in the 90's (Truck driving national roadeo), and was seated next to Carlos Santana's Godmother...she had the granny book with pictures from the time he was a baby to present...pretty proud godmother.

Always been a fan of Henry Macarty. I enjoyed this story. He left New York looking for adventure and boy did he find it.

His real story and exploits have always been interesting enough for me, although I do intend to check out the new series about him. Hollywood will most likely screw it up. From everything I've read, he had a good heart, but he was surrounded by a lot of very bad people, a lot of them in positions of power.

I missed a chance to see the Moody Blues because I would have to called out on a job pouring a concrete silo at the Stanford Linear accelerator site in the 80’s.
SLAC
It was a slip form job, once you start poring concrete you cannot stop.
I should have called out for work, my future there was short…

I had it before we moved, but he hadn't been on the forum for a while and we had lost touch. I guess it didn't make the phone switch.
