My only Vauen is a Pipe Club of London pipe of the year and it smokes wonderfully, I cannot help but think that their pipes are “sleepers” in the pipe world. JD @ The Country Squire is a big fan of their pipes. “ A sleeper car is best defined as “an ordinary-looking production car fitted with a race-derived engine”. It’s a car that looks slow until you race it.” I don’t mean to suggest that the Vauens are ordinary looking, meant more in performance.. I thought a sleeper car was where one bunk-hopped with Marilyn Monroe.

An estate pipe from Smokingpipes.com and some blending stuff from Tobaccopipes.com. I've been chasing this exact Brebbia for awhile and I guess I manifested it, as the youngsters say. Congrats on the find! Always nice to finally land something you've been looking for for a while. A update. I received the pipe from Smokingpipes.com Monday. I'm still waiting for the tobacco from Tobaccopipes.com ordered 5 minutes later. . It was in Denver on the 7th. But they can't bring it to my house until next Monday. The USPS is underesourced but they could at least pretend to try. To John's point the regional distribution centers appear to be operated using some kind of random number generator.

I just ordered a Chacom: Brown Smooth Reverse Calabash pipe and some Sutliff’s Eastfarthing tobacco. Just what I needed - another pipe. Somebody please stop me! Barking up the wrong tree. 😜

2x Christmas Cheer 2014 1x CC 2015, 2016, 2017 1x 25 Matured what looks to be about 50g of 5100 in a Mason jar
Those last 2 were things she just threw in because she's a righteous pipe smoker.

Got this today, a Yanik meerschaum. A bit more fanciful than I usually go for in pipes, but it made me smile.

That's quite a . . . um . . . yeah. Congrats, turbo!
Arrived for me: the above pictured Comoy's. That got here fast! The listing didn't say "unsmoked", but it sure looks like it could be. And it came with the original box, sock, and papers, too. I enjoy those old advertising materials they put in the boxes.

I also meant to mention the handwritten note they included, congratulating me on another Comoy's prince. (I bought one from them early this year or late last.) It was a nice, personal touch.

I have a Pebble Grain prince that's a great pipe. I just rarely smoke anymore. I had a bowl of FMC in the PSF POY 2016 bent egg a couple of days ago. That's the only thing I feel like smoking anymore and that will be very short lived if I started smoking it every day.

Not in the mail yet, but scored this nice Castello Sea Rock 31 on the Bay today. My first Castello. It's crunchy looking! Is it a billiard? An apple? A Roma tomato? I also bought a bottle of stem de-oxidizer from Briarville.

I bet it smokes great.

The post office delivered an 8 ounce bottle of stem oxidation remover from Briarville a few minutes ago. I've got to pick out a pipe to try it out on.
