I really don't know what to do at this point. We've got no mods to set or enforce any community standards, and no sign that sparks will ever appoint any, despite repeated requests from several members. As long as valued members who have their panties in a twist about cultural issues outside this forum insist on showing their twisted panties here and then saying other valued members who don't appreciate it just have their panties in a twist (or are just taking their toys and going home or being hall monitors), and there is no moderation to make a decision and say " this is the kind of place this forum is going to be" -- in one direction or the other -- it's going to be the lawless West around here: whoever is most stubborn, wins. If that means some members leave, I understand. I'd prefer that you get more stubborn, but I know that's not always worthwhile. We each just have to decide for ourselves.  |
