Russ, a manly post. And I want to assure you that I am NOT bitter. I consider you a friend I have not met yet personally. I feel the same way about Dan. We all get off on the wrong foot once in a while.

Thank you Russ, I do not intend to insult anyone… I am just kind of a joker, but harbor no ill will towards anyone regardless on their personal views.
I apologize for things I said that came across as offensive.
This medium of communication often lacks the ability of the nuance in a face to face conversation, and the inability to immediately correct what later can be construed as a misunderstanding.
I work in an occupation where we are constantly joking with each other, and good naturedly “getting each other’s goat”😉
And I have seen that on pipe smoking zoom calls, and pipe club messaging on the signal app we use in Arizona… forum conversation is different though, and I need to keep that in mind going forward.

Judging from the number of notifications I am seeing, we're in good shape. Friends can disagree and bicker occasionally and remain friends. Let us remain friends,most of all.

Men have a tendency towards manly sense of humor. It can be rough with no ill intentions. You have to grow up fast with a union apprenticieship. When I was 14,i worked a crew where I was stuck in a car with 5 much older men for hours at a time It takes a lot to offend me. |

Yeah, when I did construction right out of high school, them old school guys were pretty rough!
I felt freshly plucked each day, growing up in a military family prepared me well for it, and knew how to navigate.
