Good Morning! It's 59° with a cloudy sky here in our town right now. This afternoon I have to take my wife to the hospital wound care clinic for her weekly treatment. Just lit up my first pipe of the day, HH Pure VA Flake, in the BBB Two Star Special smooth billiard, with fresh coffee on the side. Have a good one everybody!

Good Tuesday morning to all of the Patch, it's a grey, cool morning in the Irish North, there's a nip in the air, cold weather is latakia weather for me; Artisan's Blend in the Aldo Morelli straight billiard, large mug of coffee to pair. Hope you all have a good one friends! You know, Artisan's blend is one of the latakias I tried very early on and found it was too much latakia for me. I probably still have it around here somewhere. Probably should give it another try, sometime.

Just lit up a bowl of one year old Limerick Flake in the BBB smooth billiard while slowly sipping my coffee. Watching another streaming episode of the vintage TV show "Four Star Theater" on YouTube.

Good morning. It’s a fine sunny start here, but we’re due for showers later on. Back into productivity mode after a bowl of Atalaya in an Olde England straight Prince (by Sasieni). I hope you all have a good one!

Good morning! I'm loving these cool mornings on the porch (63F). I know there won't be too many more of them before Summer really sets in here in Georgia. I am smoking Sutliff: Voodoo Queen in my Nording Spruce. This blend and this pipe seem to be made for each other. I love the pipe, (I know it is not everyone's 'cup of tea'), but to me it looks so 'earthy', as if it were found in the forest; so natural. And Voodoo Queen seems to be the perfect blend for it. I was enjoying a bowl and the neighbor's cat stopped by to pay a visit. After meowing around me he curled up in the rocking chair next to mine and purred and napped. Every once in a while he would give an approving sniff of the air. It was nice to have his company on the porch. Perhaps I should get a cat. Anyway, I hope everyone has a splendid week. See you around the forum. Sketch

Happy Tuesday! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Tuesday cob and coffee on the front porch. It's 63 and overcast here, expecting a little rain later. Still plenty of time to get some work done outside, if I want. Or just to relax and enjoy the time outdoors.

Having another bowl of Haunted Bookshop, this time in the barrel-shaped meerschaum. I've had this pipe for a couple years, and it's seen little action. It has taken on a little color, and I'm trying to smoke it more frequently to see how much more color it'll take on. One of my summer projects, I suppose.

Running some Friar's Bayou through the barrel meer. I took a few photos that I'll share later. I'll also take a photo every few weeks to show any coloring progress.

Evening all, beautiful sunny afternoon here, happy to see it. I'm trying out some G&H Sam's Flake, it's quite moist, so will require a fair bit of drying time. I haven't decided which pipe, but as it's new to me, and has some tonquin, I will probably have it in one of my Apple Diplomat Cobs.

Not much time for smokes this afternoon so I’ve been squeezing in small bowls of GH Dark Bird’s Eye.

Good Evening! It's 68° and cloudy out here on the deck. The sky has looked like rain would start at anytime all day. Smoking a bowl of Limerick Flake in the Stanwell 29 smooth billiard while listening to streaming rock oldies on Pandora and there's a glass of cold water on the side. Enjoy your night everybody!

I'm on the front porch with a bowl of Friar's Bayou in an unbranded, sandblasted Zulu. A basket pipe that I purchased from a long gone tobacco shop in suburban Detroit called The Briarworks. Owned by a great guy, Tom Nash, who once was a pipe carver ( he preferred "briarsmith") at Malaga Pipe Shop.

I won one of his pipes at my one-and-only slow smoke competition. Sat next to Paul Spaniola. He spent most of his time coaching the guys at his end of the table. I also have a Malaga freehand that I but from Tom's consignment cabinet. At the time, he told me he may have made that pipe. Huge hunka briar.

When we'd drive from Lansing to the in-laws in Sterling Hts., our route took us practically right past Malaga in Royal Oak. The whole shop was nothing but Malaga pipes.

2016 McC Three Oaks Syrian in my Robert Amundson blasted Billiard. I had been calling this pipe a Brandy, but I noticed on the data card included with the pipe that the carver calls it a "small blasted Billiard". Yeah, it is sorta a Danish Billiard and Robert studies with Nanna Ivarsson.
