Cooling off here. Down to 90. With a little breeze! Good for you. Holding steady at 85. Miserable humidity though.

Also 92, overcast, dry so far. Abingdon in Castello Collection Greatline, usual CokeOriginal by side. Notice unusually heavy truck traffic both directions, no idea the why part.
Ed-whatever happens it does, just accept

Good morning, I’m smoking Sun Bear in a Peterson Dublin. Almost through this tin. I enjoy the blend but a little goes a long way. Probably the strength of the toppings. It’s sunny and not so hot yet by the pool. The local news seems to want to make the recent hot weather stretch into a climate apocalypse. Although it’s warm, I don’t think it’s much out of the ordinary for mid June around these parts. It’s supposed to build up by the end of the week, so on Friday I may be singing a different tune. I hope you have a good one! You notice that coordinated effort to dramatize normal weather lately? My area has an excessive heat warning all week long and it hasn’t gotten above 92 degrees. Yet it was hitting 98 degrees before June 15th the past couple decades. Suddenly it’s excessive heat? I’m scratching my head on this one, it has been around 90 here, which is hot but pretty typical at this time of year. I keep waiting for the real oppressive weather to come, based on the weather folks, but it hasn’t been bad at all. And that comes from someone who hates the heat. Weird, but I’ll take it over the genuinely uncomfortable stuff.

Having a bowl of Inns of Court in a Dunhill billiard on this sunny hot (but not excessively hot, lol) late afternoon.

I’m back to smoking Royal Yacht today. I was all over the place with my blends and a cigar yesterday, it’s nice returning to it after that. I’m smoking it in a KOC meerschaum that I don’t smoke often.

Thanks Ron, it’s a nice smoker, yet another instance of me thinking I’ve been neglecting it in my regularly used lineup.

After-dinner smoke time. Haunted Bookshop in the Wednesday cob on the front porch. I'm gonna finish this inside. It's sunnier now and without much breeze, it's not comfortable.

Out and about this evening. Missed out on some weather while I was away. Power outages and tree limbs down around us. Couple bowls of Friar's Bayou in a MM Diplomat 5th Avenue with bamboo shank for the drive. I'll have a bowl of Haunted Bookshop in the Wednesday cob in a few minutes.

Good Morning and Welcome to Summer! It's 70° with a hazy sky here at dawn and the high temperature is forecast to be 93°. I'm not going anywhere, so I'll stay inside and work on my postcard blog again this afternoon. Starting the smoking day with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Savinelli Venere 128 rusticated billiard and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee on the workshop tobacco table. Have a good one everybody!

Good Morning Again! It's 69° here with a partly cloudy sky right now. Currently smoking a bowl of Wessex Brigade Campaign Dark Flake while slowly sipping my coffee. Time to check the headline news.

Mornin' ... there's a new rooster somewhere nearby and he's cracking me up. I don't think he's got this crowing thing down yet. While he tries to figure it out, I'm smoking some McClelland Beacon Extra and drinking coffee.

Good morning, it’s sunny humid and warmer here this morning, a nice start to summer. I got up early to take my puppy on her structured walk, before the heat set in. She’s getting a lot better at walking at heel and not getting distracted, although she still has her moments.
After a quick breakfast I’m smoking a bowl of Rattray’s Hal of the Wynd in a Martello billiard. I need to get some work done after this bowl. I hope you all have a good one!
