After-dinner smoke time. Haunted Bookshop in the Thursday cob on the front porch. Earlier rain cooled things down to 76, but very humid. More rain on the way. Yay.

Good Morning! It's 72° with a clear sky here at first light. This afternoon I have to make a supermarket run and then pick up some watermelon from our daughter. Starting the smoking day with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the BBB Freestyle smooth bent billiard and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee on the workshop tobacco table. Have a good one everybody!

Just lit up a bowl of Scottish Flake in the MM General cobwarden while sipping my coffee and watching an old TV program on YouTube.

Happy Friday! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Friday cob and coffee on the front porch. It's 76, humid, partly cloudy with a light breeze. It'll be another hot day, around 90, with a good chance for more rain and thunder. Gotta get some work done in the yard anyway.

Good morning, I’m working on the last few bowls of Sun Bear left in the tin. Smoking it in a Sasieni Old England rusticated straight Prince. The heat has arrived in full force today, but it’s nice enough in the shade and a cool breeze is blowing in off the lake. I just got in from picking up the weekend’s provisions from the local Amish market, so I think it’ll be a personal day for me. Hope you all have a good one.

On the back porch with some Friar's Bayou in the barrel-shaped meerschaum and a fresh mugga coffee. Doing a little garden maintenance before it gets too hot.

Back on the front porch with a bowl of Friar's Bayou in the Friday cob. Only 80 here, but quite humid. A breeze would be nice.

Friar's Bayou in the barrel-shaped meerschaum on the front porch. Breeze is picking up. It feels good, but I think it might be bringing more rain. Oh well, such is summer in Michigan.

How yall doing this evening? I havent been able to try much in variety of pipe tobaccos yet but my local shops selection and right now im smoking some sutliff vanilla custard out of my savinelli bings favorite inside the house reading a book of old days gone in Michigan. The book is "White Pine Whispers" by author Larry B. Massie incredible read and very interesting to me. Last read was incredible it was called "Six months amongst the indians" by Darius B. Cook. It is first hand accounts and goes against what is allowed to be taught about that history in some ways. Anywho back to the book hope everyone has a good weekend happy piping friends!

Sounds like interesting reading. Finding variety locally in Michigan in pipe tobacco is not an easy task. There are depressingly few places left that offer much. I’m very thankful for ordering online.

Usually when I get a new pipe, I put it on a shelf or in a box. But I couldn’t resist cleaning up my new to me Savinelli and trying it out. I’m smoking my own Va/Perique/DAC, etc. blend in it.
