Very nice! I'll share some tomato porn a little later. 😵💫🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 In Columbus, Zach got to hear the story of how I was psychologically scarred by parochial school first grade hot lunch which often included stewed tomatoes. Teacher forced us to eat them one day. Since then, I am nauseated by the mere thought of tomato in the solid form.

Les was telling me that story at the show. Yes, it turns out that Les had several pounds of the out of production D&R Acadian Perique which is a major ingredient in the blend. With that, a new batch is possible. Of course he did.

Since I'm refreshing that Castello, I'll smoke one of it's offspring. McConnell Scottish Flake in a Caminetto ring-blast pot.

Good Morning! It's 55° with a partly cloudy sky and a big full moon here at first light. This afternoon I have to make a grocery run to BJ'S and maybe to a supermarket. Starting off the smoking day with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Peterson Rosslare 106 smooth billiard and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket. Have a good one everybody!

Happy Tuesday! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Tuesday cob and coffee on the front porch. It's 61,mostly cloudy and breezy here. It'll be another cool day, great for outdoor activities like mowing the lawn and puttering in the garden. I gotta do something with all the tomatoes.

Last night's try with the Medico Apollo was a bust. Even as slow as I puff along, it got hot and gathered moister in the heel. The little Kaywoodie was a fine smoker, with Bald Headed Teacher, and I'll keep that one here on my desk for a time. This morning I loaded the Notchwilder{?} pipe with Captain Black Copper...this is a very nice smoker. The wall are thinner than I would have them, but the pipe does it's job well...as for the tobacco, if you have to ask yourself if you like a blend, even after five bowls...you don't like it, but that's why they make Mason jars; on a snowy winter day, C.B. Copper might hit the spot. Next up, the newly found Kristen, with some F.M.O.T.T.

Good Afternoon! It's a cool 63° with a mostly cloudy sky out here on the deck right now. One of the neighbors a few houses down from us is having a tree removed. The very loud machine noise has been going on all morning and will probably last throughout the rest of the day. . Currently smoking a bowl of Scottish Flake in the MM Washington 5th Avenue cob with a glass of cold water on the side.

I’m still mostly smoking my 90% PS81/6% Perique/4% DAC blend. This has become my regular smoke. I just made a new quarter pound batch of it.

Did odds and ends in the yard and helped SIL put up some Edison string lights in his backyard. Never got to the lawn. Oh well, there's tomorrow. Briar Fox in the barrel-shaped meerschaum on the back deck. 70, occasional sunshine and breezy.

Good Evening! It's 67° with low humidity, a mostly clear sky, and bright sunshine out here on the deck. Just beautiful as our Autumn preview continues. Our neighbor's tree removal crew is wrapping up the job of taking down two trees so quiet is returning to the neighborhood. Smoking another bowl of Scottish Flake and this time in the Stanwell 29 smooth billiard. Streaming rock oldies and a glass of cold water accompanies. Have a great night everybody!
