Good Morning! It's 71° with a cloudy sky here before first light and everything is wet from last night's thunderstorm. The heatwave continues and the high temperature should reach the low 90°s again. This afternoon, after delays caused by prolonged problems with my back, I am determined to finally get that toilet seat installed. Starting off the smoking day with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Peterson Rosslare 106 smooth billiard and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee on the workshop tobacco table. Have a good one everybody!

Happy Wednesday, I’m smoking GLP Navigator (from 2020) in a Sasieni rusticated billiard. It’s forecast to reach the mid 90’s today with high humidity, but it’s a fine warm morning so far. I’ve got a free day today, so I can relax a bit and plan for the upcoming weekend. I think a return to the bay for a few days is in the cards. Biting flies are definitely on the decrease by this time of year. Have a good one all!

Happy Wednesday! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Wednesday cob and coffee on the front porch. 76, partly sunny with a light breeze and very humid here. Everything's wet from yesterday's rain. Lots of water and wind resulted in widespread power outages from fallen trees. More stormy weather possible later today. Gonna check on the garden shortly.

I can't go out on the deck for a pipe right now. My next door neighbor is having some tree work done in his front yard and the machine noise is brutal. Oh well, I'll just wait until after they knock off for the day.

I just smoked some Country Squire's "Dark Holler" in a Vauen: Mokka (5277) pipe. This tobacco is wonderful though quite rare. It only comes out once a year. Vauen pipes are always great smokers and so far are my favourite brand of pipe. As you know, pipe smokers are immune to the tobacco's room note but it was breezy enough outside to overcome this. The room note is amazing. I used a Vauen 9mm charcoal filter and an Aliinay Bowl Filter. For the latter, I never know which side to place up. Here is a photo of the pipe and the bowl filter. Talk about happy puffing.

I mostly acquire chunky chubby pipes and have very few long and leaners.

I’ve continued to smoke my PS 81 blend throughout the day, but I thought I would change it up for the moment. I looked around in my cellar and found an experiment that I did maybe six months ago that I hadn’t tried yet, Old Joe Krantz cased with Fig extract. So I’m smoking that now in a BC calabash.

Smoking some Riverboat Gambler in my pauls cayuga pipe. I struggled really bad wanting a drink today. It was a rough day and night. I'm proud of myself for putting the bottle back on the shelf at the store. Alcoholism is real and it's hard I'm breaking generational curses and it's not easy. Tomorrow is a new day. Hope yall have a good night.

Good Morning! It's 71° with a cloudy sky here before first light. The toilet seat has successfully been installed, so this afternoon I'm going to do some laundry and just goof off. Beginning the smoking day with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Don Carlos smooth bent Two Note and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee on the workshop tobacco table. Have a good one everybody!
