Happy Saturday! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Saturday cob and coffee. It's 49 and cloudy here. Hoping for a little sunshine today. Making a big pot of soup this afternoon. Yes, Russ, kale will be included. So will beans, spinach, carrots, parsley root, celery and Italian sausage.

Yeah, not a big fan of greens, but I do like Haunted Bookshop although I don't know how good it would be in soup.

“ For some reason, I've always thought Night Train was a latakia-heavy blend” Certainly understandable. It's a great blend. Now you've made me go digging in the cellar. I went over to Smokingpipes.com and looked it up...it sure sounds tasty

Enjoying my Triple Crown/Lancers mix in a Design Berlin Royal Star, a volcano made up of six dark, carved panels framed in a somewhat lighter cherry stain, set off with a silver ring.

Good Afternoon! It's 48° here and damp with a cloudy sky. I'm back in the workshop and smoking a bowl of Wessex Brown VA Flake in the Stanwell Silver Mount blasted billiard with a bottle of cold water on the side. Time to clean a couple of cobs. Have a great evening everybody!

I’m having another bowl of Squadron Leader, this time in a Peterson spigot billiard. It’s a sunny windy day here on the coast. We’ve not had enough cold weather to kill off the flies, so I’ve been swatting them all afternoon. My little pit bull Hyacinth hates when I swat flies so she’s been barking every time I pick up the swatter. A nice way to spend a lazy Saturday.

I’m continuing to smoke my 50/50 blend of 2011 and 2022 Mac Baren London Burley Blend in a BC calabash. This tobacco seems to be a perfect match to the weather here today.

Samuel G. Navy Flake in J. Everett in profile picture. After taking little guy for a hair cut and dropped a few bags of kindling off for the Barbers wife. Then down to an retired engineer's house for a pickup bed full of recyclables. Then off to another friend house to pick up old pickup bed trailer because the bed is an old Dodge Power Wagon bed for my project truck. Stopped and got gas for my ride and the friend who was helping to haul my new to me truck bed home. Got home unloaded and visited them Deere said I had a package. trailboss dropped a big bomb when I thought it was going to be a very small package.

Good morning all, I had to take a break from the pipe while my mouth healed up after having a tooth pulled. I’m smoking a bowl of Squadron Leader in a Savinelli smooth billiard while the tide rolls in. We’re in a severe drought in the mid-Atlantic, but the full moon has pulled in very high tides so we’ll be cut off from the mainland for a few hours. As the Ancient Mariner said, Water water everywhere but not a drop to drink. Have a good one all. I'd been wondering about you. Good to see you back.

Good Saturday Evening All, The sermon for tomorrow is done... The Bulletin is done... Supper is on the stove... Time for a wee pipe of Presbyterian Melange in the Irish Seconds Rhodesian... A couple of bottles of water alongside... Next to see what y'all have been up to in my absence... My many new duties have taken its toll on my pipe smoking experience, too few bowls over the past several months... too few posts as well... I certainly miss the daily check in and weather update from Russ and Sid's Grecian Photos... We do what we must do... Puff On Me Hearties, Puff On!

Good morning, I woke up a little early and figured rather than laying in bed I’d just get on with it. Our dog walk was a beauty, crisp and cold under a moonlit sky. We’re all fed and I’m settling in to a bowl of 2022 Cringle Flake with a cup of coffee on the side.

Good Sunday Morning! It's 37° with a mostly cloudy sky and moonlight. This afternoon I'm going to just putter around, put laundry away, fix a doll for my wife, and clean Lily's cat box. The smoking day has begun with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Don Carlos smooth bent Two Note and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket. Have a good one everybody!
