Just finished work and this bowl of 2012 Louisiana Red in a 1970s smooth straight rough top Charatan's Make (Lane) Perfection Deluxe Extra Large with a black double comfort vulcanite stem.

Last smoke of the day is Angler's Dream in a slight bend 1984 Stanwell Antique 124 grain etched with a smooth front with a black vulcanite stem. Reading baseball box scores while this smoke lasts.

I was off the inter webs yesterday with my personal trainer at the gym and then driving Miss Daisy. I was smoking CH in the @basil Meadows bullet cob all day.
This morning it's Tudor Castle in the IMP MiniMeer and Community coffee, neat.

Starting with yesterday's closer, GH Bosun, first in the Falcon, now in the smallest of my Calich bent bulldogs.
I would've dried the tobacco out more but the air is too humid and, here's a 21st century, First World problem, I don't have any incandescent bulbs to park the tobacco under; it's all florescent and halogen now! I'll tough it out with an extra re-light once in awhile.

Unknown aromatic in a MM Patriot. Half & Half on deck. In my first pipe ever. An unknown (maybe Karl Erik) pipe. Traveling today, so those are my two companions. Taking a friend to his kidney stone procedure. Time to kill while waiting.

Coffee and Low Country Strawberry in an old MM straight corncob. It's one of those cobs which was on a card at the gas station/bait shop on my way to the lake. Think they cost about $1.25 then.

Half way through this bowl of Old Companion in a smooth 1998 Parker 489 three quarter bend Billiard and a black vulcanite stem. A bottle of Cheerwine is my drink. Suzy is sitting by my side, while Molly is parked on the window sill, thinking about having a bird for lunch. |

I first tried it last summer after Jeremy Reeves recommended it to me. This is one of those rare Va blends that smokes good young. I think the double stoving is responsible for that. I have since added several tins of this to my cellar. |

Just finished smoking Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem.
