Well dang, now your making me want to bust open the one that James sent to me! scrooge ... maybe I'll carefully slice the bottom open so the pack remains intact. They've been on permanent display ever since their arrival.

I tried the SG arabica today at work, and did the McChrstals highland ice when I got home, I like the highland ice one. Darins savory I tried also...So far I wasn't able to detect a nic hit and once I snuffed too hard and got to taste it for a bit lol

Thanks a ton, James, but you don't need to send more. I'm going to do what Josh did and jar it up while preserving the "display". You are TOO kind though ... all the best! EDIT: Just got your message ... You're amazing! LOL

Chuckus if you like the highland ice, try the SGM as well. Its mentholated too, just not nearly as strong as the other. I lost track of what I sent you, but I know I labeled them lol. You can find the descriptions on mrsnuff

roadsdiverged I tried the McChystals Aztec this morning with my coffee before my pipe, I like that one, very chocolatey, and the flavor lasted a good while.
This one goes in my I LIKE IT pile for sure.I was looking on Mr Snuff, and building a list. They drop the hammer on you for shipping.I am building a list of things I think I might like.
I have to try the peanut butter, I have always been a huge fan(go crunchy or go home) and I am not eating PB on my current diet so if its any good it will fulfill a very important spot for me. I may have to also contact Darin to see what he has available. So Far so good.

Ok this morning, I tried the Viking Persica. To me it smells exactly like a type of chew/snuff that was popular in the early 80's called Redwood. Redwood at the time was preferable in my area because it was stronger than Copenhagen and cheaper too,It had about the same cut as Copenhagen, though this snuff was a lot finer grind than Redwood, the smell and taste was very similar.

The Aztec is good and the scent last longer for me than most of my other snuff.
I like the scent of Persica but it never seems to do me right. I dont know if it's the moisture of it or the grind. Still a good snuff though.
Have you tried the viking brown or SG brown original yet? They have the fermented scent that I LOVE so much.

roadsdiverged Yep, Like the Viking Brown, the SG original good too.Didn't care for 2 of them, they smelled like flowers. My top 6 in no particular order is Highlands Ice, the Aztec,SG original,Darins Rootbeer 2,Darins Savory Viking Brown. You are right the Aztec does last long..so does Darins campfire.Out of all I think I only sneezed once on one of the flowery ones. I see on Mr Snuff they have bacon and cheese. lol, sounds weird but I never get tired of smelling bacon so I may have to try it. I looked at my list this morning on Mr Snuff and at 94 + 20 for shipping,I'll have to pare down the list a bit.

Haha, even with a smaller order the shipping will be around $15. I just make 1 order and make it count!

Man … I gotta get my act together and make a new batch this week! The Burley has been fermented and ready to go for some time now. It sounds like many of us enjoy a straight up snuff like Viking, Kendal, Taxi Red, etc. So, perhaps I'll shoot for something like that but oiled like a Schmalzler.

You've got to, at least, take me to dinner before I'll show you my "equipment".
To be honest, a food processor, coffee grinder, series of sieves and food grade "toppings" is all I use. If I'm adding Menthol at all, I also use a mortar and pestle prior to mixing it into the main batch. Maybe I can make a short video of some of the steps this time!

This is what I mean. Where do you even go to buy 'menthol'? and what does it even look like? I'm assuming you can't grind a liquid.
I need a brick of menthol please - food grade if you would, my good man.
Certainly sir! Ah yes, right here behind the dragon wings.

Been doing the Root Beer Boogie today as I cook up a storm of food in the kitchen...Snuff is really the ticket for the situation.
I ordered two dozen tins of ElToro on December 11th, I have heard nothing, no requests answered, no notifications zip, zilch, nada...I am just glad that I only spent $27.00 and not $70.00 that I contemplated....if it comes in I will post in this thread, if I decide to do a chargeback and am successful I will also post. Not sure since it is Venezuela.

Tonight I went with a blend of SWS Latakia, and Toque Rustica. I think tomorrow I’m gonna take a couple of SP’s to work with me. Haven’t used them in a while.

So it's a crystal. You make snuff with crystal menth. Maybe I'm learning why I can't stop sniffing.

I wish Wilsons of Sharrow had screw on lids. I leave their tins at home because the lids are loose and I don't trust them. Toque I can take with me, as well as the plastic tubs from Gawith and Poschl.

No time to read 19 pages but was interested in making some. I have some brown bogie that is a prime candidate. I also have access to dozens of flavors (if I want). Came across this thread with some good information in case anyone is interested... Snuff making
