Just a little dried out and calloused. And that's not my "working" hand.

I tried snuff 5 or 6 times in my life back in the 80’s, all I did was sneeze for hours.

Well ... I got busy and started a new batch. Lots of pics but no video as that just wasn't working out. Starting with a couple pounds of Aged Burley that was kiln fermented by me for a month: Larger bottom and mid-stems all removed for an "all-leaf" blend: Primary shred in food processor, sifted through a strainer with last bits of small stem removed (seen on paper plate just barely in pic on the right): Salt, Soda and a little Black Licorice into 2 cups of water for the initial basic sauce: Reducing the sauce ... and the cook! Adding the liquid: Just enough to moisten not soak: Firmly packed into pint jars for the primary rest: After a few weeks, the drying, second milling and final saucing will take place. Stay tuned!

Also ... I'd like to thank matt for some recent snuff samples from Rosinski as well as a tap box of Polar Prise. All very good snuffs and inspiration to try to keep improving my own.

I knew there was a lot more to it than grinding leaves in a processor. A kiln? Darin's not even showing you the pixie dust he buys from that really old guy at the creepy shop.

SG Brown Original again. Besides Darin's, this is probably my favorite non-menthol snuff. Gunna need to make an order soon, I see my TAD going on the back burner for the next 18 years.

Lol ... pixie dust has gotten too expensive so I switched to moth wing dust. A "kiln" for tobacco is any container that can safely hold a temperature of 120F to 130F and keep the humidity high. Mine is an out of service refrigerator with a crock pot installed in the bottom.

I’ve been sniffing WoS Gold Label all day. Probably my favorite SP. I came upon a 450g tub last year. I’ll never need to buy it ever again. Lol

The Polar Prise is amazing ... great balance and just the perfect amount of smokiness. The Abraxas was pretty good but a little "odd" at first snuff. It's much more tame than Bohica though!

Hey! Nice to see you around, Rost! I don't believe Frankfurter was in the samples but will double check. Is that one you like? The description sounds really good!

I got a few different kinds including Goldapper which was fantastic but far and away the Frankfurter was in my opinion the best. Hopefully that was one you got.

I was wondering the same and havent had much luck finding info. The only thing that I could really find is the flavoring comes from oils and it's incredibly moist?
I could be wrong. Wouldnt be the first time.

Thanks for noticing Charlie. I definitely plan on making February's meeting. As far as the Patch goes I really am here at least once a day observing. For me I usually learn more by listening or in this case reading. 😀
