Awesome! Sounds like a good assortment and plenty to keep you busy! Lol ... a little menthol goes a long way, huh?

Yes. The first sniff ever I didn't know there was menthol snuff, and was thinking small pea. I was wrong.

I like menthol...sparingly. If I take a menthol snuff, I am good for awhile...with others like Kendal brown, Viking dark, Gawith black coffee etc...no problem, i actually have to slow myself down.
In hindsight, I wish I had put some black coffee on my last order it is really good stuff. I have always loved the smell of coffee in the can, and have always thought that even though I really like brewed coffee, if anyone could capture what is in the can, that it would be great...SG really nailed it.

Was just on toquesnuff.com to see how they described Toque Regular, and saw this description of Whiskey and Honey:
As requested, Our most popular snuff flavour on a base of toasted tobaccos' and blended with toasted Rustica. This snuff is the strongest snuff on the market today and must be handled with care. Not for the novice snuffer.
Uh oh. I'm sceered. Good job I haven't opened that one yet.

And just found out this Toque mini bullet is refillable! Awesome! It's by far the best and least messy way to snort a snifter. The base unscrews, and now I don't need to buy a snuff tin on eBay. Thanks Charlie!

No time for a pipe this morning ... thank goodness for my snuff. I'm combining some Old Mill Sarsaparilla with Viking Thor's Hammer for a scented powerhouse ... it works! Soon, the next batch of CloveMint will be mixed up as it's a great holiday scent. I'd be happy to send out samples for anyone interested.

trailboss hooked me up with some Taxi Red and, I gotta say, it's good stuff! If you are a fan of the Dark / Coarse / Moist genre (Viking Dark, Thor's Hammer, Kendal Brown) then this is for you. "Simple, Yet Satisfying" could be the marketing slogan. ps ... have NOT braved the Makla yet. Perhaps this weekend!

Got a mixture of 1 part 6 Photo Cheeta with 3 parts Viking Thor's Hammer going on. Can't take the Cheeta by itself, too fine.

I didn’t know the makla was oral snuff😲
I guess Mr. Snuff doesn’t communicate it well... or I didn’t catch it.

All Good! I've never tried anything like it and look forward to the "experience". This kid is pretty goofy but did his homework and uses all the right terminology. He uses a HUGE chunk (prilla) of it!

I cannot stand Copenhagen, and I have never been a Skoal brother either... this is a whole different animal, I really like it.😎 Thanks for the video, it definitely helped.

So that's what that little black tin of Makla you sent me was. I thought it was congealed snuff that had gone bad.

So, am I understanding that the Makla is chewing tobacco? I'm a little concerned about the big kick; I've never smoked cigarettes and I don't want to get sick. Meh, it won't matter, I have enough snuff for the rest of my life. I really like the menthol ones now - didn't expect that to happen. When the one gram bullet of Spanish Gem is empty, I'm going to fill it with Toque Original, because I think you sent me a 10 gram tin and a 25 gram tin

Yeah, but it is not chewing tobacco in the sense of Copenhagen, or Red Man...you basically make a small putty chunk and put it under your upper lip. That doesn’t produce saliva which makes it something I like!
I cannot stand Copenhagen or Red man.
If you didn't dump it thinking it was bad...you might want to put electrical tape on it so that it doesn't dry out...it needs to be of a play-doh consistency.
Prepare over a blank sheet of copy paper next to a sink, so the inevitable spillage when you form the putty ball you can return to the container. and you can rinse your fingers off afterwards. As the guy in the video says, it gives a burn...nothin a Texan can'tr handle...with a really decent nic-hit. I was barreling down the road with 80,000 pounds last night when the nic kicked in felt like the afterburners were lit.
If you tossed it thinking it was bad, I can send another one...they aren't very expensive,
If you can gather some coins together, you might want to take advantage of the offer posted above...it is a great deal.

So, I've tried it twice now. A small pea size ball kept in for about five minutes provides plenty of POW! It's not as bad as I thought it would be and can see using this at work occasionally. The burn is likely from ammonia or carbonates used to lower the pH and up the BOOM.

Having never smoked cigarettes, I'm fairly certain I don't want a massive nicotine hit. Pretty sure I'd die. Don't wanna drink ammonia neither.

Ok, I tried a half grain of rice sized Makla pinch. It burned like hell, so it came right out. Still, enjoy the menthol snuffs now, so maybe one day; until then, I'm sticking to my Stokkebye flakes and the nasal snuff

If so, you should try my holiday blend ... it's got a bit of menthol as well.

I'm afraid I despise clove, same with aniseed, marzipan and licorice. I do like the snuff you made that 10furlongs sent me though.

It turns out that Makla has a shroud of mystery around it. You know me ... if I like it I need to be able to make it myself. So far what I know is that it's about 35% chopped Rustica leaves and 65% other texturing agents. I'm assuming the pH is dropped using Slaked Lime and the other fillers may be a Xantham / Guar Gum or similar. The overall method to make it is likely the same as Snus and involves cooking it. Cooking also lowers the TSNA's to next to nothing and makes it safer to use. More to come as I make the discoveries!
