Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, EHHHH. no wonder Hollywood is in trouble. I'm going to have to differ on you with regards to this movie. I don't particularly like Leonardo DiCaprio but it worked well none the less.

Acting was good, just the story didn't ring with me.

Acting was good, just the story didn't ring with me. Fair enough. It really is a bit outlandish.

La La Land. Totally bad nonsense and it really captures the spirit of LA.

My wife and I watched ‘The Joker’ last night. This is not the type of movie we usually watch. However, because the character is part of the Batman saga, I figured it would be worth seeing. I knew to expect gratuitous violence and antisocial behavior. I have no complaints about the actors or the plot. The depiction of a gritty, apathetic, violent early 1980s New York City could not have been anymore authentic. So what’s my gripe? I’m disturbed seeing senseless violence and death. Again, the acting is exceptional. The subject matter is disturbing and I don’t want nightmares.

I just watched the Joker I thought it was fantastic Joaquin Phoenix did a outstanding job. I am not disturbed by violence in motion pictures as I am still able to separate fiction from reality. If I want violence and reality I just turn on the news.

Those are not movies I would watch.
I tried watching the first three Star Wars movies recently and thought them mostly silly with a few bright moments. Remarkable how young the actors all looked. Especially Carrie Fisher in her Jaba the Hutt Slave outfit. She was so thin and small.
