I was in Santa Fe today picking up a replacement CPAP. My original died.
So, lunch was at the India House and their fabulous buffet. Two dozen Indian dishes, meats, vegies, rice, chapati, naans, rice. Curries, Tandoories, Japattis, Jalopies, Joseas, and, of course, a large bottle of Taj Mahal Lager. What a treat! I ate two plate fulls.
On the ride home, stopped in Española for my usual small strawberry milkshake.

Grilled cheese and tomato soup. That is something I can get behind. Feeling a might peckish this evening after today's stuffing, so a bread roll with one slice each of deli peppered turkey, sliced ham, two slices of cheddar, slices of ripe garden tomato, romaine lettuce, Dijon mustard washed down with Low Sodium V-8 Juice which is like a cold tomato soup.

How far do you have to go for a supermarket that stocks that exotic (for New Mexico) food? 90 miles round trip. dang! hope you catch some good sales, when you invest that much time.

Cream of Wheat with some whole wheat toast with tangerine marmalade. The 2 1/2 minute box is the same as the packets for about half the cost for those on a budget.

dang! hope you catch some good sales, when you invest that much time. When I go to town I usually see friends and have lunch with them. Then we play cards for a couple of hours. Maybe have an adult beverage, talk over the world situation and old times. I try to make a day out of it.

Filet Mignon with bacon, green beans plain, dinner salad with blue cheese and a yogurt dressing and hand full of tart little tomatoes. Sometimes I don't season veggies enjoying the taste that God made for us it is all too easy to coat everything in butter and salt.

whenever da Mrs comes downstairs, usual Sunday fare of 4 lg eggs, mangled ham slices, little chunks of x-sharp cheddar. "Skillet" is the GeoForeman grill. For us, comes out two portions of good looking mess. Side of English Muffins. Foot & baseball awaits starting at 1pm.
