I agree that mutton is an acquired taste. Done right, it can be a meat lovers dream. The oldest restaurant in San Francisco, "Jack's Grill", used to a mutton chop which was out of this world. A nice big chop, wrapped around a lamb kidney. Then the chop is wrapped in bacon and slowly broiled. Takes about 45 minutes to prepare. This is enough time for a glass of wine, some sourdough bread, a Celery Victor Salad or a bowl of Mock Turtle Soup, all espescialites du maison. Man was I ever said when that place closed down. You want a real mutton experience, try the canned mutton imported from Australia. That will make a man out of you!!!

The two hamberder patties I had for lunch and the freedom fries in the skillet along with them killed any possibility of my eating dinner tonight or maybe eating ever again. we shall see. I think I might be done eating ever again.

Almost every time I go to Captain Clowns I order the original double cheeseburgers. I think it the best bang for the buck on the menu and really hard to beat the simplicity of a burger that built a empire. I can no longer eat whatever the heck they are calling sausage any more it makes me darn near ill. This comes from a man who could eat rancid meat as long as I had hot sauce.

Beats gas and electric hands down.

I was thinking Jenn Air that's we redid the kitchen in years ago. The best upgrade was the convection oven. My friend Pam did her kitchen in GE top of line and it did not end well for them. Self cleaning ovens locking the door while cooking dinner and alarms going off on the middle of the night. It really pays to shop around we saved hundreds by purchasing from a kitchen design store of all places. Of course I installed it as it does not take a brain surgeon to plug stuff in and connect a gas line.

Of course I installed it as it does not take a brain surgeon to plug stuff in and connect a gas line. We bought a Frigidaire induction range. 4 induction burners plus a warming burner on top and a convection oven. 6 years and zero problems. Everyone I know that has bought Viking and similar brands have had nothing but trouble. I don't think that I have ever had a range break down. Wore a few out though. Same with refrigerators. Ice machine is the only thing I have ever seen break on the budget fridges we buy. Cooking with induction is what cooking with gas is supposed to be.

Perfectly boiled rice and golden crispy diced oven roasted potatoes. No salt, no spice, no sauce, no oil; nothing but the natural taste and texture of these ancient staples. Filling, healthful vegan food prepared simply and thoughtfully with love and respect.

soon to be Schwan #662 toaster waffles, 2 cycles. Add usual of sausage link, real butter & maple syrup, nuked to plateful of mess. Add k-cup cocoa, all to smoking room desk & continue with the papers. Later pick up wifie from sleep center then ultrasound at hospital, take her to JC Pennys for some last minute shopping. Keeps the olde man busy!
