Had a light lunch of dolmades and hummus with a couple of deviled eggs. We were hungry, but had an appointment in 35 minutes. Though we were going to have Miller's hamburgers but had to rush to get to another doctor unexpectedly. So now we are in the waiting room and starving. unexpectedly? I hope all is OK. I had a dirty kebab last night. It was so good. My wife's scheduled appointment with her Endo was almost over when the Doc noticed a spider bite, and insisted that she see her GP that day. It was a scramble to get from the Medical Center back to Humble. It was swelling and moving down and was right over her heart. A couple of days of antibiotics and it is almost gone. We did get the Miller's Cafe semi-famous hamburgers at the original location on Saturday. Just a neighborhood joint in a strip mall that has been there for almost 60 years. The funny thing is, the Med Center location is in Scurlock Tower, the most prestigious medical professional address in Texas. Every thing else is shiny and spotless, then there is the replica of the greasy barnwood and tin hamburger joint. |

Cholesterol isn't the worst thing. Everything you NEED to know about cholesterol. spacedoc.com If one’s LDL is twice as high of your HDL, that’s when I worry!!! My last cholesterol Labs came back...total cholesterol level....211. My last visit to my primary care physician she suggested I start taking a Statin. My response...” when my total level goes above 240 I’d think about it. My total level was not overly high “! Just what I need is another drug in my system, plus it might play havoc with my neuropathy and cause even more muscle damage. Sometimes doctors over prescribe medications, like they get kick backs from the pharmaceutical manufacturers!! |

Just had a quesadilla for the first time. Not bad... Not bad at all. Jump on the bandwagon delish . Favorite is chicken and black bean also enjoy spicy beef and onions. |

Just had a quesadilla for the first time. Not bad... Not bad at all. Jump on the bandwagon delish . Favorite is chicken and black bean also enjoy spicy beef and onions. Also quite easy to make at home. Create any quesadilla at home....from pulled pork & cheese to your favorite fish....” kick it up a notch “👍👍 |

Getting ready to go to the dentist, my wife grilled a couple of NY strips from Aldi that had aged to a nice purple. Fan-damn-tastic! Aldi Western Beans on the side. As good as any steak house at a total cost of $10.

I will fnally have a tooth back after almost two years of procedures. My last implant took over 2 years too. It even had to reworked a couple of times after I got the first crown. I hope that you have better luck. |

Thanks Ron and Ted. Tooth is on and it feels great! This bottom molar's problems started four years ago with a filling that had gone bad but I didn't realize it until it fell out. The cavity had made it to the nerve. That was exposed when the filling fell out. You wanna talk about pain. That put me on the floor in the fetal position. I had an emergency root canal done. That failed and about two years later when it started hurting I found out I now had a bone infection in my jaw requiring a graft. It has all continued from there. I think I am finally better. I had headaches almost daily for about a year during the bone infection and didn't know why. It is so good to feel right again.

The cavity had made it to the nerve. That was exposed when the filling fell out. You wanna talk about pain. That put me on the floor in the fetal position. I had an emergency root canal done. That failed and about two years later when it started hurting I found out I now had a bone infection in my jaw requiring a graft. It has all continued from there. I think I am finally better. I had headaches almost daily for about a year during the bone infection and didn't know why. It is so good to feel right again. That sounds awful. Glad you've got it fixed. So what are you eating? |

Well this morning I had a bunch of fried peppers, hash browns and eggs. Just had a giant Pearson's salted nut roll. Not sure what my wife has on for dinner.

The cavity had made it to the nerve. That was exposed when the filling fell out. You wanna talk about pain. That put me on the floor in the fetal position. I had an emergency root canal done. That failed and about two years later when it started hurting I found out I now had a bone infection in my jaw requiring a graft. It has all continued from there. I think I am finally better. I had headaches almost daily for about a year during the bone infection and didn't know why. It is so good to feel right again. Don, happy your feeling better and no more headaches! Thanks. I haven't had any pain outside the dentists chair in about a year now and have been eating normally since the implant install healed up. Feeling great dentally!

Smoking is a completely different story according to her. Jack, with all of my health issues my bad cholesterol was 54, I’m not worried....my primary care Dr was reading me the riot act. I told her “ two of my Meds can also increase my bad cholesterol “, do I stop taking them....that shut her mouth fast, she had no answer. My appetite is poor so I eat what I’m in the mood for...case closed👍 |

So, it on to chicken. Came home with nice chicken breasts. I aim to stuff one of them with compound butter and make my own roulade. Pound breast flat and wrap around the nice beef/pork kielbasa I found. Roll the breasts in Panko and bake. That'll fix 'em. |

I dropped some money on my mouth this year and my "quality of life" has drastically improved. I didnt realize how bad it effected my overall well being until it was all taken care of.
