Yeah, I knew that my teeth were really bad, but the last trip enabled me to eat a steak for the first time in months without having to cut it into tiny pieces before I could eat it. I am over most of the painful part at this point, (except for right now it hurts like the devil)

Thanks Ron and Ted. Tooth is on and it feels great! This bottom molar's problems started four years ago with a filling that had gone bad but I didn't realize it until it fell out. The cavity had made it to the nerve. That was exposed when the filling fell out. You wanna talk about pain. That put me on the floor in the fetal position. I had an emergency root canal done. That failed and about two years later when it started hurting I found out I now had a bone infection in my jaw requiring a graft. It has all continued from there. I think I am finally better. I had headaches almost daily for about a year during the bone infection and didn't know why. It is so good to feel right again. Same thing I went through for so long that I cant even remember. I dropped some money on my mouth this year and my "quality of life" has drastically improved. I didnt realize how bad it effected my overall well being until it was all taken care of. I'm glad you're well! Thanks Josh.

A thick NY Strip in an iron pan dressed with Black Truffel Butter, riced cauliflower with black beans and peas, large salad with Bob"s Big Boy Blue Cheese Dressing. No complaints here.

Tonight I stopped at a pizza/ Italian restaurant......Iβm here in NC over 4 years and yet to have a great slice of pizza. While driving I noticed this restaurant β New York Style Pizza β........so I decided to give it a try. Glad I did....I had the BEST slice of veggie pizza since I left Long Island. Very thin crunchy crust, superb sauce plus homemade mozzarella cheese smothered with red peppers, sweet onions, baby Bella mushrooms. Iβll be going back oftenπππ. Turns out the owners were from Brooklyn, NY......they know π pizza π.

Sorry, Chicago. Your pies are great but they are not Pizza. Glad you found a source.
We gottem an Eye-Talian place in Taos, run by a New Yorker. Great pizza. What a blessing! Their clam, shrimp, calamri and mussel topped pizza is something, well, nothing I expected here.

Not because Iβm originally from NY...I totally agree....nothing better then a slice of NY pizza. Iβve been to many pizzeriaβs from Long Island to NYC.....I will say some of the best slices I ever tasted were made in Brooklyn. Iβm sure Wolfman....aka Sam knows great pizza ππ Chicago does have some of the best thick pan pizzaβs I ever enjoyed. Also a number of different style pizzaβs throughout Europe, especially brick oven wood fired pizza from Italy! One of my closest friends from Long Island owned 2 Italian restaurants. Iβd make a special seafood pizza that was superb. Only made for both our families, the cost to sell would have been astronomical. My friend passed away unexpectedly in January 2016 from a massive stroke. He was never sick a day in his life! Rest In Peace John G.

Ulster Fry would normally consist of sausage, bacon, fried egg, soda bread and potato bread (staple Irish fry elements). Other things can get added, but that would be the basics
The place I went to was more an artisan coffee shop so they were nice and healthy. I ended up with a combination of an slayer fry and pancakes. The maple syrup was outstanding... None of that cheap crap.
Note: autocorrect changed maple to male. Beware.

Just a simple donut stick and a mug of coffee βοΈ. After the range Iβll be spending the rest of the day with my 3 granddaughterβs here in Knightdale. Later Iβll be taking them for an early dinner. Then back to my sonβs again to take care of the dogs. Glad my son will be home tomorrow early evening πππππ

I just finished a keto friendly bagel with cream cheese and two cups of Community Cafe Blend coffee. I had a late start this morning after staying up watching college football. Plus, it is raining, so there is not grass cutting today.

Biscuits and sausage gravy, two eggs over. Three coffees. An order of rye toast to have something for the third coffee to wash down.
First diner I found on the way home from camping.

Went to an all-you-can-eat crabcake and ham lunch today at a RURAL firehouse, out on the shoals of the Chesapeake. I had a couple pickled beets, and literally 2 bites of potato salad. And 14 crab cakes.
I bring my secret recipe crab cake sauce. Can't have crab cakes without the sauce, it just wouldn't be right.

Soda bread is easy and quick enough. For me, the challenge is having the ingredients on hand. Today, I am using dried cranberries and diced prunes in place of the raisins which I lack. No buttermilk, so cottage cheese mixed with regular milk. 90 miles round trip to a real store. 40 miles to a lesser market and I mean lesser.
