Having some of my fresh Tamales I just got from our nieghborhood Tamale vendor. Having some Arroz with chipotle peppers I got from Seniora Gonzales who lives behind me yesterday. Having a bottle of Tecate on the side.

If eating angel hair pasta damaged your bridge, thank God you were not eating a toasted bagel 👍👍. Your dentist should repair your bridge like tomorrow !! Good Luck.....it’s “ gotta “ get better.
Ordered a GROSS ( not my idea ) PaPa John’s pizza........now I understand why a toilet is also referred too as a “ John “.....disgusting excuse for pizza!
Brought home 2 Arby’s lamb Gyro’s , the one for me has tomatoes and super heavy on the sweet onions and Greek sauce on the side👍👍👍 Fresh filtered water on the rocks for now.

I am trying to find a reason to drive to Alamosa CO, the nearest Arby's. A 124-mile round trip.

Find out when they have a 2 for $6.00 sale, it’s worth the trip if you purchase 2 for eating at Arby’s plus a dozen for your freezer 👍👍
Tonight’s Dinner......a very slow cooked pork stew. Four diced sweet onions, 5 fresh plum tomatoes, finely cut carrots, two types of fresh mushrooms, finely diced jalapeños, and a homemade gravy to die for...lol. Had no room in this crockpot for potatoes or beans. No pasta or rice necessary!!
The first picture is after one hour of cooking on high. The second picture is 4 hours later cooking on low. The last 30 minutes it’s now set on high. Dinner will be served @ 6:15.
We went out to the new Black Bear grill down the road. It replaced the Logans Roadhouse. It was a the same, nothing special. We both had the Reuben sandwiches and soup of the day.

Ted, that looks and sounds amazing. You are a chef after my own heart. I can almost taste that from way out here!
Don ^^^^^^^^ if you lived nearby you’d be welcome anytime. I still enjoy cooking when I’m feeling half way decent. Makes me feel good when I see someone enjoy my cooking. Appreciate your very kind words👍👍👍

Looks superb. I can almost taste it. Looks very much like the traditional French White Veal Stew.
Let's see that gravy recipe!

Meatball Marinara with spaghetti squash and penne.
Made a Tart Tartin. This is an apple pie like thingy developed by the Tartin sisters in Fraaance. Crust is baked on top and then the tart is inverted. There is supposed to be substantial caramel on the bottom to hold the apples when it is fipped. I made it in cooking school long ago. Since I have abundant apples this year, it seemed appropriate. If I can successfully flip it and it looks decent, a photo to follow. It was made in a 10 inch iron pan. Flipping involves a large top plate. That is a lot to invert quickly.....
