Brought back a slice of NY Style Pizza with fungi ( mushrooms ) from an outstanding pizzeria on Rt. 64 in Knightdale. The BEST pizza in NC so far👌👌👍👍👍 My first food of the day! That is a good beginning. Hope it went down and sits well for you.

Tonight will be last week's Pot Roast with onions, carrots, cabbage and taters under a nice gravy,
Hardly touched it since it was made.

Kiss food tonight a riff on a korean bbq. Ground chuck browned and sauced on well seasoned rice. Garnished with sesame seeds and green onion tops. Sweet salty spicy and earthy all at once and it only takes 30ish mins from starting the rice to get it on the table. Ice cold milk to drink.

I tried the Mac & Cheese and returned it for a refund......absolutely disgusting!! So now it’s a chocolate Danish, it’s edible.

That all sounds very good.
For me, fried chicken and homemade vegetable beef soup. It was a "light" fried chicken. Normally, soaked in Buttermilk and double battered, the way Miss Edith taught me long ago. This was just dusted with Creole Spice mix of my own and flour. Thank goodness for a Lodge Chicken Frier Iron Pan.

Yesterday's was 2 baked potatoes, cheese, onions and baked beans on top. Simple, but great. That should go in the easy recipes thread.

Maybe he was referring to pumpkin cheese cake. vov I’m sure pumpkin cheese cake is available in Texas. If not all the ingredients to make one at home is readily available, even if you must purchase canned pumpkin which most bakers do as well.

We'll be gutting a few pumpkins later in the month. I might use the insides for something tasty.

Paddy, you’ll find many recipes online to make pumpkin muffins, cheese cakes, cookies and pies. It all depends what spices you also have readily available.......it’s all about creating something different 👍

Another Friday, another fabulous Indian lunch. Chili Chicken appetizer ( Chili Chicken), and house special curry (can't ever remember the name) with lamb. Today I brought a couple Carolina Reapers with me, and they added them to my dishes. It was fire-from-the-ears good.

After my ex’s doctors appointment she took me out for a huge breakfast for my birthday ( better late than never ) at Big Ed’s....very well known in these parts for good Southern cooking at very reasonable prices. Everything was delicious and the waitress gave me a few extra biscuits to go at no charge. Their corned beef hash is made by a true Southern Chef👍👍👍

Home made pizza in the normal oven, not the pizza oven. Not as good, but still not bad.

Eating leftovers from last nights chicken, yellow rice, broccoli, cauliflower, mozzarella and colby cheese casserole, has a little green onion and yellow bell pepper for depth of taste.
