Smoked sweet beef & pork sausage vegetable stew. Will be ready by 6:00pm. Making mashed potatoes topped with four different shredded cheeses. Will nuke for 2 minutes to melt the cheese on top👌👍👍  |

Kate made a sweet potato and lemongrass soup for lunch. It was really good...

Just finished an omelet of green onion tops, and cheddar cheese...with a side of fried potatoes and several warmed in the skillet slices of the filet I grilled yesterday evening...Kona coffee to drink and now to have a smoke...gonna be a great day.

The local pizza place has invented this thing called a pizza roll. Its more like a pizza panini. Mozzarella cheese with pepperoni, and a marinara sauce dip.
Ohhh it is wonderful.
Side note - a bowl of Rimboche S.J. after eating one of these is just an amazing taste sensation. Its wonderful.

Pepperoni and artichoke hearts with pine nuts and basil leaves.

Wife and I started drying venison last night. Half went in the dehydrator the other half went in the oven set to warm at 170. Cracked the oven after about an hour. Woke up this morning and the dehydrator stuff looks ready to roll. The bunch in the oven looks close. The pieces I sampled were oh so tasty. If they aren't done I'll run them both some more as I left them out to cool so I can bag em when I go home at noon. Since the hunt for whitetail continues today.
