Thomas’s English muffin toasted dark, covered with cream cheese and orange marmalade. I have 3 jars of Wilkin & Son’s Tawny Orange Marmalade on the way from Amazon. ‘Twas my favorite while living in Europe, to this day still the best marmalade’s I’ve ever tasted👍👍👍

Started the day with a cup of coffee at 4AM...back to bed shortly after that...bad night. Got up and having a cup of hot cocoa and an half an English muffin with Kentucky honey (very light in color and great taste).
Now time for a bowl of Butternut Burley.

Made a large potof beef, vegetable, bean and tomato soup, lots-a Smoked Paprika, out of a very thick homemade beef stock. Perfect Fall fare. Will serve on rice with a dollop of sour cream for Dinner tonight.

Tonight’s dinner will be a baked calzone with mozzarella, peppers and onions. Dinner will be ready @ 6:00pm unsharp.....lol. A glass of Kendal Jackson 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon is called for with dinner tonight 👌👍👍

Not eating anything as I just left the dentist, but they are opening a new Arby's by my house. I can eat Arby's 5 days a week.
The Krispy Kream is held up because they can't hire any workers. There are way more jobs than workers in Houston these days.

Just finished some corn bread that my wife made with charo beans (chorizo and some other hard sausage as flavoring) was really good...washed it down with some dead ginger ale. Next up some cafe con leche.

Just read the label that my wife threw in the trash...that is charro beans (in a can) by La Costena ...beans seasoned with bacon, chicharron and chorizo...really good beans if you have some corn bread...even better. Yeah, I love all things Cuban and Mexican in the way of foods and used to be before I married, the women. Latin women are something to behold...hope I'm not gettin sexist here, cause that is not what this old man intends...just appreciation of the finer qualities of some mankind. |
