We've such a good spot in a diddly dee bar that we don't want to leave. So we're taking it in turns to go to McDonald's across the road so we can keep our seats. We'll never get seats like this again for the rest of the day...

I typically don’t eat breakfast but today I’ve been up since 4:30 EST so I’m hungry. 5 egg whites, turkey sausage on a whole wheat roll with salt, pepper and ketchup.
That is some Breakfast. Curious what you do with all those egg yolks? Homemade mayonnaise?

Having a party tonight and started the chili last night. Its gonna be goood. People are bringing other goodies but the chili is gonna be out of this world with 24hrs of simmer time.

Cooking is fine. My repertory goes to simple classics. I make a delightful western omelet. OMG you should try it.
And my refried beans are wonderful. I have a sweet breakfast version and a savory dinner version. Pinto beans rule!

The Pinto is a good bean. Of course, I never met a bean I did not like.
This ^^^^^. Had a small pair of White Castle cheeseburgers (frozen)...they are small and 2 is what I usually scarf down. Gotta get my junk food quota in.

Morning, Ted...sounds like a plan^^^. Kona coffee first thing this morning...everyone here in the house are still sleeping, with the exception of me (obviously). Small dog and wife are in the back...both snoring quietly...back to back. Lil pup sure looks cute...eyes closed...nose quivering...must be dreaming again. Had to wake her up last night...she was having a bad dream and making lil noises indicating she was not having a good time....she went back to sleep,,,sweet thing. Yeah, I love her....wife, too.

Yea, I posted it retrospectively. We're up north now. Holiday's over, back to work tomorrow.
