My pound of Vintage Syrian, Two Friends Chocolate English, and Balkan Supreme came today. The VS Label on the bag was unobstructed, but the bottom half on both sides of the bag had an addiction warning. Oh, it's addictive! Take me to your leader, please! I'm down for more!
Josh Gates has a new Exotic Location Series, only a half hour covering 3-4 subjects. Probably the only series of his I won't purchase. However, bless my ears and whiskers, I believe he has a new season of his first show, Destination Truth coming on. That may be a winner.
BTW, on to Chocolate English. I had a thread months ago about the joy of chocolate after a Lat smoke. Having the chocolate in the English mixture is pretty nice. Just hope Two Friends can mix as well as I did with my Dutch Chocolate English.
Transmission coming in from Zeta Reticuli. If I am not off in the cosmos I shall return

Driving to my parents' house for holy week and hopefully will have enough people for a dominos match tonight. I still need to pick up some drawers I had a carpenter repair and install them before I leave.

Tried to get her to play dominoes and other table games. She plays online games all day and I guess real life is boring. Have a great rest of the Holy Week

Darin Arizona totally rocks. We were there in '93. I have a lot of old Arizona Highways mags I love reading. Had some tobacco seeds here. I thought having a green thumb would help, but it turned out to be gangrene and it fell off. Bully the Lionhearted went to the groomer for his monthly. Got to see all his friends. Came back with his tongue hanging out and left me wondering how much fun. Question for the Chronicle Denizens. I bought a tin of Dunhill Three Year Matured Virginia... before reading the lackluster reviews. Should I just keep this tin unopened till the cows come home? Should I smoke it, mix it, or make an art project out of it?
well, while i was still cutting teeth on pipe smoking someone sent me a sample of 3 year matured va, i hadn't read reviews so i smoked it and i liked it quite well. so try it, and if ou don't like it i'll trade you something for it

I enjoy Josh, I appreciate his sense of humor. Destination Truth was the best. I did enjoy his one show he did on DB Cooper, that was very interesting!

Going to let the VA sit for a while, but if it is not agreeable, will send it your way. The only tobacco I truly disliked was Bob's Chocolate. I still have some left for the next time I get blocked up.

You think you're taking a moderate draw, but the smoke keeps coming out of ya for five minutes. It is great with coffee

I've gotta get some 5 Bro's! Headed to the USPS to mail out a bunch of samples including a brand new Rootbeer Snuff that turned out nice. There is a new Thai place on the way and I'm going to check out the Yellow Curry Chicken. Then, on to Beaver Creek to let the dogs galavant whilst I smoke my pipe on a sunny rock.

Darin Yellow Curry Chicken is one of Xuan's specialties. I guess she made it in 'Nam, but she has been making it for 33 years for us. What a way to warm your insides!

Yeah, women worldwide don't seem to partial to playing dominoes, they must have had a meeting on the subject or something. I never got the hang of online games, it just seems silly to pay for a game only to then pay again to play it online. Why not just invite some people over and that way several only pay for a single copy of the game?

my sister taught me to play Mexican Train, I thought it was fun. I bought one for myself but so far haven't had to opportunity to teach hubby....
i prefer to play card games, especially Phase 10 or Texas Hold'em. I would like to learn Whist, but no one around here plays it. Another good one is Hand and Foot, which is a variation of Canasta.

Got home just in time for our new fridge to be delivered. The old one is being turned into a kiln / fermentation chamber that I've seen plans for online. Funny thing, the guys that dropped it off were big brutes but both were worried about the dogs. I told them that, at worse, they would get licked and wagged at. Lol

I used to work in an inner city clinic for a while and I found all sorts of names for 99 cent wine at the liquor stores

The women in my family all play Canasta and take it much too seriously for me to even try and learn how to play it. Mexican train is a lot of fun, if there are more than 5 of us playing and its just for fun we'll play that a lot. Oddly enough in Mexico we call it Cuban dominoes! I've never heard of Phase 10, how is it played? Whenever we play with a French deck it's usually Continental or King's Corners but usually people here play with a Spanish deck.
