Time for a smoke If you order from P&C two blends you might like if you like RR. Sutliff J4 Burley and Sutliff VIP Match. The latter has a tad bit of cocoa, I think

It's my Friday ... 12 more hours to freedom! I can't wait to smoke the recent samples I received and get busy making more snuff.

Thundereggs are cool! Nothing planned with rocks on this break ... gardening and snuff making laced with R&R.

Just finished drylocking and painting the basement, pain in the arse when you are doing a few hours after work each night but I put in 5 hours today and knocked it out. Going to shower, have a cocktail and pick a pipe.

Going to shower, have a cocktail and pick a pipe. People that asked me to help paint something never asked a second time. I did get asked over and over to help move fridges. Many good bowls today. Working on some HG 2000 right now. On the phone a lot with dad in the hospital, but so far so good. Got some Bengal Slices, War Horse Plug and two Dobie tobaccos ordered. Maybe I should play some Dobie Gray when it arrives. Give me the beat boys and free my soul. I wanna get lost in my clouds of smoke and drift away... ay. Binge watching both seasons of Jamestown. Pretty good. Not nearly as sick as the Salem series was. Gentlemen, and M'Lady, may the Smoke be with you

My son gave me a MM MacArther as a bit of a laugh. I smoked it a few times but wasn't very happy with it. The stem was drilled so that it was next to impossible to run a pipe cleaner through it and it didn't draw well, and for me, it was just too damn deep to enjoy. I broke it out yesterday and tried it again and as I was smoking it, the thought crossed my mind that I would probably never smoke it again.
Rather than toss it in a drawer, I decided to see if I could make it into something I might smoke once in a while. I worked the stem out of the cob and dropped a hardwood plug and packed it into the soft cob beneath the stem hole to keep me from poking a tool through the bottom. I then took a round file and removed the blockage to fix the stem. To finish it off I cut a little more than an inch off the top of the cob. It is still a substantial depth, but a little more to my liking. I glued the stem back in and put it away to dry.
I'll probably take it for a test drive in a day or two and see if I like it any better. If not, no loss.

Scott, you will survive. Though thousands of lives might fall in your struggles, but you will survive. Dad made it through surgery and his dialysis and is doing fine. If any of you ever decides to watch the Jamestown series... don't watch the final eppy. Write your own ending. Couldn't do any worse. Have had some Da Vinci, KlompenFuggermadigger, or something. Some of my own blends, Murray's Belfast. Smokes been good. This King Charles is truly one of a kind. Hello, good evening, good morrow to all the international members. Just wonderful to be 61 and now communicating with friends all over the world... not to belittle the buds here. Might be the last transmission for the night. Going back to my bizarro world on Zeta Reticuli. Maybe will find Art Bell Or maybe I will find the dear souls of KittyDog and DiscoFrisco

It’s been my morning pipe. I happen to be smoking it now. I recently started smoking English blends again and this is one of my top five. Unfortunately, it’s rarely available and I’m going to regret smoking it daily, very soon. I guess it’s better to live life in the present. Who knows if they’ll be a tomorrow.

I can be very happy smoking these STP blends, Murray's, John Cotten, and some that I am trying today (being delivered). They pretty much satisfy my English Desire. Of course, I have others in that range. King Charles, and I am guessing the soon to be tried Penzance, satisfy as a treat smoke, and since I still like Aros and Straight Burleys (like Five Brothers and SWR), it's all good. It's like I make an effort to pay attention to each of my genres of tobacco on a regular basis.

Gentleman, and M'Lady (If she cares about such things) Bruno Sammartino has died. He was a true wrestling champion. All those who say all Wrestling Matches are fake may not be aware of "Shooter Matches". Buddy Rogers (champion) was told he had a schedule fight with Bruno, under the assumption he would be victorious. The promoter gave Sammartino free reign and he won the match in about two minutes, taking the title from Rogers, who never forgave him. Bruno was a good guy. He will be missed

It smoked much more to my liking, so I guess my modification was a success. As I looked at the MM website, I see that I basically turned my MacArthur into a General. I cut about an inch from the cob which is pretty much the difference in the two pipes. It is still a rather substantial pipe and it holds a lot of tobacco. I probably won't smoke it often, but I will smoke it occasionally when I have time for a long smoke.

I don't have a MacA because of the issues you had, which I figured I would as well. I am not above tinkering with cobs, though. Major Kudos on a successful surgery
