I need a python or a boa just big enough to swallow a few cats. Back on Long Island a Chinese restaurant was closed permanently. They were caught butchering cats to make it look like pork slices, also used in their dumplings and roast pork fried rice.....yum!!!

The neighbor thinks he has to kill all the snakes that go in his yard. I was out with the dog and noticed this one headed that way. It has now been relocated behind my house... I havent found any red ones in quite a few years. It was about 3 1/2 feet long. Beautiful in my opinion Red Rat Snake Look, Paddy. Toes! ^^^^^^^ lol

I had a customer buy a bunch of equipment from a closed chinese place and I had to disconnect everything so we could remove it. When I got up in the ceiling to disconnect the hood system I found a coffee can full of dog tags. Sure am glad that place isn't around anymore.

I understand that is a culture thing and I guess being just an old American guy..just can't see eating my dog. Good thing they closed up, if that came out...could be some missing Asians in the neighborhood.

That is a beautiful snake.
We get a few green and yellow "water snakes" around here. They are mostly docile and interested i n who is around them. I have seen them lift up to look at me.

I fear spiders more than a broken femur. One time there was a HUGE garden spider under the passenger side visor, which my wife found while we were driving. I had to pull over, and get out of the car, while she disposed of it in the grass. I just can't do spiders. Ever. I'm ok with snakes. I am 6" 2" tall 310lbs an have to chime into this, my spider dropped down from the drivers visor right in my face while backing out of the drive way. I bailed out while still moving that sucker can have my truck. No way No How. I'm 6' tall 285 lbs- a few years ago a spider dropped right in my face as I was driving 50 MPH and I ended up totaling my car into a deep ditch, as the road curved a little, while trying to get it off my face! The police were so amazed and unbelieving of my account they gave me a breathalizer test even though I had not been drinking! I was embarassed, but thankful I wasn't injured. I don't do spiders and give snakes all the clearance they need.

On my way home on the backroads, stopped thr car, turned off the lights, lit a pipe and enjoyed this moment.

I really enjoy them and don't get them often enough. I could have sat there all night and I'm almost certain that another car never would have came down that road.
What you didn't see in the picture was the lighting directly behind me.
This afternoon we had a 3/4 double rainbow as well.
Maybe the stars will align or something tonight.
Life is good

Supposed to close on the house on Friday. As many of you know, I skipped vacation with my family this weekend to pack and move, exhausting work. I emailed my lawyer today asking what time the closing is this Friday and he writes back “I know nothing about a closing this Friday”. Went back and forth with lawyers for both sides today, very frustrating. I reached out to the buyer and he is contacting his lender tomorrow and will hopefully get some good news.

On top of that, my VP put my hat in the ring for a newly created position that will be held by only 2 people in NJ and they are pressuring me for an answer on that so between switching houses and potentially switching jobs, I’m completely on edge. Smoking a pipe right now before bed to ease the brain a bit.

I'm glad you weren't badly injured. On my way home on the backroads, stopped thr car, turned off the lights, lit a pipe and enjoyed this moment. Awesome, Josh. Buddy, that would freak me out. It's awful when you're relying on people to do a job that you can't do yourself but you're doubting whether or not they are going to actually do what they're supposed to do. At least your email will hopefully have lit a fire under the lawyer's arse and give him enough notice to do whatever he has to do for Friday.

I woke up and looked out to the back yard and saw this. It's the worst it's been in years and is nearly in the back of the garage of the lady behind me. God can shut the spigot off any time now.

Update! Went out to gather some stuff needed for work today and had 3 inches of water in the garage. I needed an excuse to clean it out but didn't want it this way.

I'm not riding at work again today, as it rained again all night and the trails are shut down. So I'm going out this morning and helping a child's summer camp with their horse program. They need help organizing things into a more efficient and safe operation. My daughter is a wrangler there.
