Getting ready to light up some Butternut Burley Crud. I just made and order from P&C, and I just KNEW I forgot something. I was gonna try Scotty's Butternut Burley. 4 Noggins has a butternut burley too, and I've never had that either. Which one were/are you smoking? They are the same. I bought a couple pounds from 4noggins and saved 10$ or more over P&C, who didn't have a sliding scale for buying more. It may have since changed. I got it several days faster than from 4noggins, too. I do suggest you look at both sites for current price edit - PS, welcome to the Chronicle. Don't change the time on your watch. Just pull the stem and fuggetaboutit

but don't you dare take a break from us! I wouldn't dream of it. I spend more time on this place than I do with my pipe.

Spent the afternoon listening to the radio. I use an Internet radio quite a bit. Listen to Polynesian, Mexican, and Greek music a lot, not counting K-Pop and J-Pop. Xuan threw all my Korean (pre K-Pop) music out when she found out my Korean was better than my Vietnamese. Notice I never say she cooks with a Wok? It got dented up early on in the marriage with her chasing me around the apartment, saying things in Vietnamese that I don't think were very nice. I'll bring up what happened when she found my Tina Turner albums up some other time.

All those years married and she never had you learn Vietnamese?

Good day all! I'm waiting for a package to arrive with my new Burley blends. Sutliff Burley J4 ... because @cosmicbobo has been talking it up and I love a good Burley ... and Amphora Original for the BOtM. Both will be new to me and that's always fun! In the meanwhile, I've tried to create an image hosting site to share photos and wanted to test it out. Here's, hopefully, a ...
That didn't work ...
It just goes to the whole gallery ... help on this anyone?

Usually you first go to the site, select a pic and hit "share" then select "direct link" and copy the url given. Then go to this forum and paste it using the image icon above in the tool bar.

My option is to "share a link" and then "copy to clipboard". Then, I either have to type in all the code "(i)", etc, or switch to desktop and neither way seems to isolate the photo. I'll keep futzing with it.

If you're using Imgur, the pics are .jpg. If you managed to copy it to the clipboard then it's just a matter of pasting it in here. Can't help ya with mobile as I don't do it but on a PC just right-click your mouse and select paste. Easy peasy.

People also recommend using the 2nd from the top "Direct Link" option. I use the 5th one down, BBCode (message boards and forums) and you can select different sizes for your pics. Both methods will not store the photos here which helps save on bandwidth and storage fees the forum may incur. Same pic, smaller size

I'm sure the biggest problem is that I'm using mobile ... kind of a PITA. The options to "copy link" or "share link" both are https addresses that don't end in .jpg

Problem solved! Had to open the pic within imgur first to isolate that link. 25 years ago, this would likely have been more intuitive! Lol

I had a movie date tonight to see The Third Murder (Japanese legal thriller) and my date cancelled at the last moment. I spent the evening smoking, eating pizza, and drinking Manhattans. My bartender was thrilled.

sorry you are having such disappointment on the dating scene. I am very thankful those days are behind me. Not that I have much of a dating life before I got married, lol. But things are very different (I am gathering) than when I was "on the market" lol.
I am excited, though, because this morning I was finally able to order a MM Charles Towne Cobbler. Been wanting one since they were introduced but they sold out in a NY minute and it's been awhile getting them back in stock. Also picked up some Sail green, I've been smoking the yellow and like it pretty well. By recommendation I also picked up Amphora VA, and I threw in a tin of Cult Embassy, it seems to be the only one of their blends with latakia, and maybe that will make up for the vanilla that is supposed to be in it. I love the name of their Militia blend, but seems like it is supposed to have caramel, vanilla, etc. in it. No latakia in a blend called Militia??? I think they need to rethink some names, lol.

Best thing MM has done in recent years IMHO.

Sitting in a parking lot of a legal office on the east side of Louisville. Getting ready to close on the sale of my previous residence in a few minutes. Jury duty ends next month too. I’ll really be glad to get these items behind me.

Best thing MM has done in recent years IMHO. We have Cornell & Diehl to thank for that, and they teased that there were more designs in the works. I really like the Cobbler shape.

I love everything about the cobbler.
I'm currently sitting on a very uncomfortable stool in a really warm dance studio... I'm about to watch my eldest daughter perform beauty and the beast.
She was in the school production of the lion King last week and was great. This one won't have the same level of production, but I'm looking forward to seeing her perform again.

Same word, but it's pronounced three different ways, depending on if the person is younger, same age, or older than you. Then there's the difference between North, Central, and South Vietnam. Traditional form of dress is pronounced Ow yai in the South. In the North it's Ow Zai. I know enough to get into trouble... and I sure do get into trouble
