Sitting in a parking lot of a legal office on the east side of Louisville. Getting ready to close on the sale of my previous residence in a few minutes. Jury duty ends next month too. I’ll really be glad to get these items behind me. wishing you the best, Mark! Yup, you know we're pulling for you

Good day all! I'm waiting for a package to arrive with my new Burley blends. Sutliff Burley J4 ... because @cosmicbobo has been talking it up and I love a good Burley ... and Amphora Original for the BOtM. Both will be new to me and that's always fun! In the meanwhile, I've tried to create an image hosting site to share photos and wanted to test it out. Here's, hopefully, a ... That didn't work ... It just goes to the whole gallery ... help on this anyone? Pretty sure you'll like it, Darn. I tried some Sutliff Burley Delight or something. It didn't compare. J4 does it for me

I had a movie date tonight to see The Third Murder (Japanese legal thriller) and my date cancelled at the last moment. I spent the evening smoking, eating pizza, and drinking Manhattans. My bartender was thrilled. Back in my dating days it seems whenever dates went awry the Royal Order of Davids (Finman, Frogman, and Fatman), all named David, of course, would get together at a fancy pizza joint, drink beer, and laugh about our failure. To me, Pizza, Manhattans, and Smokes smell like victory to me. Good choice

At least you'd get the meaning behind 'What's Love Got to Do with It?' in a very physical sense. All those years married and she never had you learn Vietnamese? I tried. Vietnamese has a word for when you're speaking to someone. Same word, but it's pronounced three different ways, depending on if the person is younger, same age, or older than you. Then there's the difference between North, Central, and South Vietnam. Traditional form of dress is pronounced Ow yai in the South. In the North it's Ow Zai. I know enough to get into trouble... and I sure do get into trouble knowing you, most of the time it's on purpose.

knowing you, most of the time it's on purpose. M'Lady, my heart is pierced to the quick. I will tell the Male Chroniclers what not to do... from my experience. Please remember, I have changed a lot over 33 years, not the least of which was going from 2 fifths of Bourbon a day to maybe a drink a month. I used to work evenings and often come home and start drinking. Later that night we're in bed watching The Neptune Factor. I was fairly unconscious and she kept bumping me awake to comment on the movie. The only reason I remember this is because of the bruise the next morning. Xuan: Oh, look honey! There's a woman on board the submarine. Me: Bottom of the ____ world and you still won't leave us alone. Please note: Though I still think it was a clever line, I detest the person that said it Now, to keep me from getting beaten again, please keep this Hush Hush, Definitely Down Low, on the QT, and Strictly Confidential

I think zambini deserves credit for that, and maybe PhantomWolf. I had already tried it because I loved the codger blend with the holiday image. Zam and Red kept the chatter alive trying to determine whether it was more English or something. Anyway, what's important is there is one more blend to smoke, enjoy, and save some bucks on... because it's cheap. SP has it, too. Not just P&C

GLP is not a bad idea. I’ve got a tin of Temple Bar that’s ready to open. I’ve never tried it, but I liked Regent’s Flake. TB is the Plug version of it.

So, wait, are the P&C match blends really just the Sutliff match blends? It doesn't say so on their site, but I'd find it more Than a coincidence that they both have the same match blends.

I'm not a fan of Alec Baldwin as a person, but as Jack Ryan in The Hunt for Red October and Lamont Cranston in The Shadow, he was great, and they are two of my top favorites. I don't think The Shadow got the credit and respect it deserved.

I don't think The Shadow got the credit and respect it deserved. Feel pretty much the same way. I did like him in the Capital One commercials. The cinematography in this movie was beautiful, yet was one of the last movies to be put in Widescreen format. I had the original DVD that was Full Frame. Then bought the Amazon Instant Video when I found out it was Widescreen. Now they don't tell you ahead of time. Then it came out on BluRay so I bought it again. Same thing I did with Excalibur. "I didn't know how empty was my soul, until it was filled."

If you get the chance read the late 80s The Shadow comic book. It's pretty trippy but issue 7 is one of my all-time favorites.
