To do so would violate site rules regarding politics and religion.

Well, out of no where my knee started hurting a little bit ago. Now I can't even bend it without being in excruciating pain. From my knee down feels like its 50 lbs heavier than normal. The only thing I was doing was sitting and rocking Alice.
All that I want to do is walk to the other end of the house and grab a pipe and head outside, but I can't.
Not making a 3rd trip to the ER since Friday, but my wife is really pushing for it.
It's so nice to feel myself getting older π

Also, congrats! You now have a "trick knee" that can predict the weather.

Probably arthritis I have a knee that does that from time to time. Drape over the end of the couch and if you are lucky it will slide back into place. If it still hurts next week go see a doc but they will want a MRI big copay deductible.

I would definitely be diverged if I did that.
@psycholime, "co-pay?" No sir, no insurance for me, so it's 100% pay.
4 ibuprofen and some sleep, I'll be right as rain.

At the SSA office with my wife trying to get her brother's SS and Medicare reinstated. They are not being helpful at all. The security guard is a creep, acts like a retired prison guard. Yells at little old ladies.

Beautiful day here in central north Florida...beautiful because being retired means that I can nap when I want to instead of having to work...also means I can smoke whenever I want to...as long as I am outside or in the A/C'd shed.

It was a chilly day here today. I spent a lot of it organising my ordination service. The things that need to get sorted - such a pavlova.

Spent all morning in the SSA office, and towards the end Jim called. I left it in my wife's capable hands and went outside to call him back. Lo and Behold there was a pipe smoker out there in the smoking area. So Jim had to wait until I finished talking to my new friend. First pipe smoker I have seen in the wild since I started up with the pipe 6 years old.

I'm eating pistachios at my desk. Is it a thing, where, the older you get the more tree nuts, seeds, and legumes you eat?

My dad has half a cabinet of that stuff. I'm always seeing older dudes chewing something with their front teeth, and I assume it's seeds.

Those are usually the last teeth to go on us older dudes....everything else has gone, along with most of our lives. High of 90Β° today here in central north Florida...had a nice morning...too bad it was spent in the Dr.s office getting blood draws, etc. Good to be back home in the comfort that lies right here in our little crap shack

Pistachio nut shells are a common sight on my desk top. I also have something swollen and red halfway down my shin but it is not my knee. Just now turned on the AC and only one of them had to turn them all off last night it was to cold in the ice chest on wheels. Thank you Walt for reminding me I need to let the vampires have some blood the doc says it not good to draw blood when I am sickly so I told him you wont be needing anymore blood then.
