In 93 years Sir Walter Raleigh pipe tobacco has not been associated with any deaths from lung damage. Not to mention his contribution to the Dry Cleaning industry.

Got me jealous, Brosef. I can imagine a shop in the back 40. Peace and quiet. Not that I don't have that where I live, but I don't have piles of wood, and yellow pine walls.

Well, after two days of power outage in Northern California (thank you, PG&E), power is starting to come back gradually, area by area. Reaction to PG&E is across the board. From they are just playing it safe and keeping the customers safe (hard to figure that one out) to its payback for being sued into bankruptcy. In any case, since they've ignored safety precautions for years its going to take some time for them to do the things other utilities seem to find no problem in doing. Oh, and to to top it off, they are blaming climate change. Didn't see that one coming.

54 in the swamp. Just finished fixing the vacuum cleaner after the wife sucked up a sock. Shark makes a great vacuum but wires inside the hose makes it fun to unclog with curved handle. I think they made that handle to never be taken apart and their are curved electrical brushes that wrap around the hose inside the handle for the power to the main vacuum. Whew what a job I need to hang out with Scott at his cabin and rest.

Started out warm and muggy, then a tornado warning, heavy win and rain, now 59 and sunny. Watching the news from Socal. I can tread water longer than I can breathe fire.

California burns that is what it does. I will be 54 in a couple of weeks and was born in LA and Cali is as big or is it bigger than Tejas and some part of it and or Tejas has been burning my whole life. You know why they call California the golden state its because they have three foot tall grass that dies back every summer and turns a golden color then it turns black after it catches on fire.

Teens this morning and now 40s this afternoon. Fire blazing in the wood stove. That Ponderosa and its flammable resin! Down to 20s tonight, I read.

I always wonder what you smoke that you don't post on here that makes you think some of the things that you come up with. California is as big as Texas in your mind.

California has mountains and a swimmable ocean so it gets bonus points and half of Tejas is not fit for habitation. So in conclusion even though in square miles Tejas is bigger but if you squish the mountains down flat and count the vertical real estate of California then they are both the same size. Now California is number 2 in size because they gave all the sucky parts away.

The thing that made Texas better was the lack of Californicators, but that's changing fast. See "Psycholime".

Well actually in the 1930s dust bowl all the smart Texacans moved to California this angered the much slower Texacans who were to slow in the head to realize you cant live in a land blowing dust and no rain. This lead to both states making fun or one another for years to come. If you don't believe Texacans live in California you have never been to Bakersfield the official capitol of Tejas west of the Pecos. The main reason that people talk slower in Tejas is so the natives can keep up. One last thing the BBQ in Tejas sucks and the beaches are ugly and got no waves. Well the beaches do have waves when the hurricanes hit so I take that back.

Made it out camping for the last time this season. Got the camper set up in its permanent spot so I don’t have to drag it around. It’s 49 and raining this morning so fall must have arrived.
