Any chance this could roll over like the WAYS thread? Just asking? Other than to say anything is possible, I have no clue on if it would be acceptable. Perhaps it's a question for the Mods or for there to be a poll. As Legend Lover says we post a lot of gibberish. I'm open to anything that is okay with everybody or most

I think it should be a monthly thread, but I am a minor contributor.

@legend Lover ... sounds pretty rough my friend. Take care and keep that sense of humor! @cosmicbobo ... great to hear about Bully! It's 105F today and I'm just trying to keep cool enough to even want a smoke. At around 7% humidity, the tobacco does dry quickly for me though! I washed some fabric sneakers yesterday morning and left them in the sun all day. High was 96. They didn't get dry. They mildewed.

@cosmicbobo I'm starting to sense that you dig Sutliff like Robert Goulet digs Gueneviere: I love Robert Goulet. I have been trying to find some music to inspire my son to take singing lessons and this should help. I will be searching through my stack of vinyl tomorrow. Son, (Sean), certainly has the pipes for it. He is disabled in a couple of ways and has been depressed about his future choices. He has amazing talent for acting and singing, but no confidence.

Don't think I am going to be up to greet antb when he comes in, but I sure hope he has a great day. Tomorrow there may be a report on my latest study. Arthur Flegenheimer, the Dutchman. Some not quite paranormal stuff about Dutch Schultz, but still twisted and ooky spooky. Remember to bring your decoder rings.

Deer tick count for the day: 2 3 of 5 stars. Deer Ticks require some re-lights. Burn to an ash, no goop left in the bowl. Can be an all day smoke.

I've still to try my tin of nutty cut and the carter hall that I was gifted... And my amphora arrives tomorrow so I've gotta get onto that before the BOM closes for the month.
I'm going to be busy.
But today my daughter is 10 so it's all about the cake.

Congrats to your daughter on her 10th. Nutty Cut is really good. It's not in rotation here, but I do keep a tin or two. CH, of course!

You'll gain less weight if you eat less cake and smoke ypur pipe more! wise words...except for today. Cos today, eating cake with my daughter on her 10th birthday is forging a lifelong memory and investing in a life, so it's worth it. I don't eat cake any other time. I'm not a fan of it.

I hope he takes your advice, so few of us have two talents worth developing. -Sigh- I should have never quit playing baseball, hehe.

Happy Birthday to your daughter! don't eat too much cake, lol. Too late! LOL! Darn time difference, if I'd been earlier maybe I would have saved you At about 12 years old my cousin got married and I got sick on her wedding cake. I didn't eat cake for years. For my birthday I would have my grandmother make an apple pie for years. Eventually I started eating cake, if it had icing I would flip it upside down and eat around the icing. Now I try to stick to cream cheese icing.

My youngest didn't want more than a couple of fork-fulls. That said, the pillow fight with daddy before bed helped to get rid of some of the energy...although not terribly great at winding down.

@cosmicbobo I just ordered a pouch of Five Brothers. Puff lightly the first couple puffs. My first puff I was blowing smoke for 30 seconds. Not strong. Just solid It arrived today. I smoked my first bowl about ten minutes later. I really enjoyed it and wasn’t overwhelmed with nicotine.

While we're on daughters and parties, here are our two girls, Louise and Brigitte, when they first came here to live with us. Xuan escaped Vietnam in 1981 with her sister and three nieces. The sister died in Germany and two of the three girls came to live with us. Even though their father is here and living near them in LA, they consider me their dad. I feel like the luckiest man in the world having them and Xuan in my life.
