You really don’t know how much 💩 you have till you move, and it’s the small 💩that kills you.

I'm thankful for these atypical warm days so I can get out and have a pipe. Happy for the small things in life.

Story about the little things, back from S Asia, I was in a turmoil, went and stayed with Grandparents on the farm, early one morning before daybreak I got up, dressed ,rubber boots on, smokes in hand, didn’t have my pipe, walked on headland, rice field growing, no Lookie Lookie for shooters, Sun starts coming up, slowly casting a glow on the water, Rooster crows, irrigation diesel pump starts, beautiful sounds , my heart pumped so hard, i started crying, I cried my heart out. I left the war on the headland, Thank God for small things.

This morning, I went outside for an arm load of firewood. It was 15 degrees (F). That woke me up some. 67 degrees in the house.

A little thunder storm with wind and rain early this morning and the Ninja Chihuahua was not happy about it. I was ready to get up but she was a mess so we kicked back in the big bed until the storm passed. Now doing nothing other than slowly cleaning up the kitchen and doing some dishes along the way.

It was unbearably hot and humid the last couple of days, but a front blew through this morning and it's in the 60s now and clearing. Going to have perfect weather for the opening of the World Series.

The case of the missing cigars has been solved. I placed a pretty large order and it shipped UPS del by USPS sure post. Status delivered Friday left with individual. Well I am the only Individual that is home all day and I darn sure did not get them. I called the park office and they said not here. So I wrote a note and placed it in the mailbox asking to whom did you leave my package before I file a complaint of theft at the post office and the police department. Low and behold they were delivered today on my door step. My regular mail lady is sweet heart and I sure will be glad when she gets back from vacation.

After taking a much-needed break I decided to come back on and have some more fun The last we heard, you were going to contact Nestle's and register a complaint against CofferMate. Had been wondering if they had dispatched a corporate hit squad after you.

Been out all day running errands, getting health insurance for my wife, groceries, etc....got home and a box was waiting for me from a good friend...a beautiful pipe... a small Rhodesian, it measures 4-3/4"L x 1-3/4"H x 1-1/2"W with a 3/4" chamber 1-1/4" deep. It has a hand cut light amber acrylic stem and a Wenghe wood shank inlay. Pictures tomorrow..found my camera, but battery was dead. This pipe is gorgeous and perfect size for me...can't wait to load it up and fire it up...I'm excited

Had been wondering if they had dispatched a corporate hit squad after you. I did contact them and they wanted the usual batch number, etc. But one of the young snot-nosed young punk kids at the pipe shop said that creamer is not as effective as it once was because the coffee is stronger now.

Ran a bunch of gas line at a customers today for the new furnaces on an addition. I have to move the freezer condensing unit because the new hood system fan has to go where it sits. Got home and cleaned leaves up again before the rain comes. It was nice day, 75 and sunny but going downhill from here.
Good to see you back Marty.

That experience reminds me of the elderly Post Mistress here 22 years ago when I first arrived. She would use Parcel Post packages to hold open the front door in warm weather. Most door stops are soon forgot, so, inquiries were often unanswered. I learned to check the door stop before asking about my parcel.
