Cloudy, 74 Did 6 loads of laundry today, how's that for excitement? If I did that to our septic system the whole neighborhood would be excited! I Grey Water my laundry into the a grove of Aspens and Cottonwoods who really love it. Not too much at one time. There is a also a dry well for any excess water.

There is a also a dry well for any excess water. We have clay and an aerobic system. Not allowed to drain the gray water directly. It would go into the ditch behind the house and directly to the creek 900 feet to the north. We can only wash 2 loads per day. Or a load of clothes and a load of dishes. Or we can all bathe. And we just paid $800 for a new airation pump.

Clearly, you do not want that water flowing off property or anywhere far. Loaded with bacteria. Surprisingly noxious if stored in a tank. Mine quickly percolates into the gravely/sandy soil here. The bacteria and detergents are quickly broken down by soil bacteria, converted to nutrients which are taken up by the trees. They thrive and have frequently reached out to grab me when I walk by. "Day of the Triffids" all over the place.

Got home and found a present from my kiddies. They made me a pipe holder in art class. They are the best.

I like the holder Eric pretty cool piece of artwork. Life is to short to do laundry so we drop ours off and it comes back all nice and clean and folded and all the shirts on hangers.

Need a new office chair again. Being a big guy sucks no mater what you pay the cheapo base on the underside of the seat always gives out. This chair is Serta and the pleather started coming off after about a year. Surprise the cylinder is still good. My wife has a Herman Miller Aeron at work and not just her but everyone hates them. Maybe I should go by the firewood place and just find a good stump to sit on.

Looks like we’ll have three (3) quite lovely days in a row here in Vancouver. Like, where was this weather all Spring/Summer?!

I handed it down to a co-worker who was 310 lbs and it held up for him for the next 10 years. They are out there and you don't have to pay a fortune for them.

Kind of a off weekend for me. Friday would have been my dad's 83 birthday and yesterday would have been my parents 56 anniversary but today we get to celebrate my oldest daughters 33 birthday. Some sadness and happiness in one weekend but that's life and it's nice to remember the ones that aren't with us and celebrate the ones that are.

Fixed the hot water relief valve by taking it apart and cleaning it. The fifth wheel uses 1/2 thread good luck finding one of those on Sunday. I had a dear aunt pass away on Easter so it kind of messes up that holiday. It seems as I get older I often think of the ones that have been lost over the years. The wife finally moved her arse out of the Lazy Boy, the whole weekend has been I don't feel like it event for her. I just sent her packing to get us a soda pop just to make sure she was still alive. I run this household with a iron hand when she is not around.

Might not be able to close the cover but will get you by until the right one can be found.

Just veged out on the couch except for cooking lunch and working on the wife's computer. I have run off most of my friends, which is alright, because, you know, R. F'n Waldo Emerson!

This is great having a professional handy to tell you in retrospect how you could have done the job easier! 😀🤠👍 (actually this encourages them to bombard you with stupid questions) When I was still working on computers I cured people from asking me for help by just making them read everything on the screen to me and do what it says on the screen. This backfired. Later, as I would visit them and find out that they were without the computer for years because they just needed to start the update over or something similar. So I felt like shite.
