Finished the battle with the leaves hopefully for the last time this year. Taking a break and headed to the garage to dismantle some chairs for the nice oak they are built with.

Sorry Marty I hope nothing more was hurt than the ol ego. I also hope you got your new speakers fired up before you took a tumble. I got my blood sugar down to 158 and I feel like I have been run over by a Mack truck as I have been running about twice that for a good long time. Excellent day in the swamp with nice cool weather so I got sit outside for a good bit and enjoy a few pipes.

Nope, when 95% of my nerves were destroyed, the damage is too extensive for any regrowth of the nerves, so I'll be like a 95 year old physically the rest of my life. It definitely won't be the last fall at the rate I'm going. 32 falls in 5 years means that I have a fall every other month.

Have to drive to Canton today and help my oldest unload her RV. They were coming up to visit and hit a deer and they ended up totaling the RV. Everyone is safe but it's a blessing in disguise. The RV had become unreliable and kept breaking down so at least they are rid of it and they can get what they want now.

That went way over my head. Lol It's a reference to Kurt Vonnegut. In Cat's Cradle, he built an entire religion called Bokononism. "Busy, busy, busy" was one of their saying to imply all complexity of life. If you haven't read Cat's Cradle (looks like you haven't), get on that ASAP. It blew my mind. You might need list a Bokononism definitions.

Visited my ex-wife yesterday who is still very much a friend.
She slipped and fell. Fractured hip. Hip replacement scheduled for today. Got home at 0230.
74 years old. Not good when hips break.

I just got back in for the first time since it went down. I was getting seriously depressed. I had to clear my browser.

Just got back and what a number that deer did to the underside of my daughters RV. She wanted me to run everything to Dayton but I told her I'll store it in my garage until they get a new one or we go down to visit whichever comes first. I didn't feel like driving the extra time to go to her place and then 4 hours back home.

Use to love seeing it, but driving on black ice too many times, has kept me down south forever.

Cold front blowing in for the next 24 hours or so. Then the temperature is going to drop. I'm getting my clothes lined up for a motorcycle ride 7:30am Saturday morning and it's supposed to be sunny and 41F!

Took tomorrow off from work, meeting a lot of other guys with horses, trucks and trailers in the morning and we are convoying over to Troy, NC where we're meeting even more guys for 3 days of camping, camp cooking and horseback riding. I'm really looking forward to it.

I'm not much of a horse person because I've never really spent any time with them, but 3 days in the wilderness, being disconnected from everything, would be absolutely amazing.
Enjoy your getaway sir.

Rained all day and big drops were still hitting me while I took the ninja dog outside. Nice and warm inside with a belly full of stew. There are two things I don't want in my life a horse or a milk cow. They are both more trouble than what they are worth at least to me. Of course some folks love the smell of shite that is never ending when you deal with them. Bless the dairy farmers and the horse track workers.

63 degrees out on the patio tonight so I had 2 bowls of Penzance.
Still got a sore shoulder from fall #32, so I spent most of the day in bed, never got dressed.
