Getting somewhat back to normal here. Yesterday I kept thinking it was Monday. Smoked some Larsen 2013 earlier. Nice aro, not goopy or something an English lover could not smoke Back to Five Brothers right now in the slowroll Stack. I am hitting 5B several times a day lately. If I try thinking of what to smoke I default to this one to just get the job done. Be back later all

After a turkey sandwich with a glass of Rose wine for dinner. I’m drying out some Holiday Match to smoke in a Henry Straub 3/4 bent . Haven’t smoked a pipe in almost two weeks.

Tryinf to think up a reason for not going into work today...and tomorrow. Here are two reasons: (1). Today would have been my grandmother’s 102nd birthday. She lives to 92, and was an amazing lady. She was happy seeing my dad smoking a pipe, because his cigar annoyed her. (2) today in 1893 The Ferris Wheel was introduced at the World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago, IL. My advice: go ride a Ferris wheel and smoke a pipe to the life of my grandma Pearl. But, don’t let your boss know that’s your reason for being absent or you’ll have many more days off.

A good many folks from New York have moved here to Carolina. They really are nice folks. They're trying to get me to become a Yankees fan,but it hasn't worked so far. An interesting observation. Yankees move down South to get away from the weather and other Yankees but want those living in the South to adopt their Yankee ways. Why? Have you encountered wondrous experiences of calling in a tobacco order to Peretti in Boston? Do us all a favor, if you’ve lived in the South all of your life, eat grits with your eggs at breakfast, have a bowl of collards and dumplings for supper, and don't allow anyone to change you. AJ

After remembering an Episode of Leave it to Beaver I found one more for you. You can sit on a sewer lid and say,"I'm not going to work until I see a New Jersey License Plate." Same can be done with a Yellow Volkswagen Beetle

After a turkey sandwich with a glass of Rose wine for dinner. I’m drying out some Holiday Match to smoke in a Henry Straub 3/4 bent . Haven’t smoked a pipe in almost two weeks. Just finished some German Salami, which is similar to Genoa. Hope your Holiday was enjoyable. I started the day with two large bowls of Five Brothers. Right now it's Castello Sea Rock in an unfinished Sav Bent Pot. I was a little disappointed in this Sav as it had a plugged divot inside the chamber. The plug fell out. I had not noticed any flaw in smoking, so I kept at it. Over time it has filled in with cake. So, I am a happy camper with it. Getting more back into the swing of things. Xuan quit complaining about my smoking a few months ago. It just went away and I didn't even notice it right away. Today we've been married 33 years. We talked about a few things we planned to do... but never did. We both agreed we're happy. This woman picked up cutting the grass because I was not able. She's still doing it at seventy-two. We talk about getting someone to do it, but she keeps on doing it anyway. No major secrets or codes here, but the rules of Hush Hush still apply

Holiday was very nice and as we speak, I am putting a bit of Five brothers in a straight bulldog to be lit shortly. Enjoying life!

I am hoping it doesn't taste like ash halfway down as it did last time. So far not bad. Not as good as Five Brothers, but I am down to my last couple pouches on the 5B Bully the Lionhearted is pressed next to my back. He was Bully the Chickenhearted when it rained the other night. Hid under the kitchen table. It's a good life when Xuan and I can sit and muse about the life of a furry loved one
