Kids today have no idea of Ed Roth or the things he created in that very "sick" mind he had...actually we were all "sick".

I really over did it yesterday. Put a bunch of accessories on the new truck, including installing the Yakima roof rack onto the camper standing on tip toes on the step ladder. Feel like I am alive today. The trailer hitch was interesting to install too.

Ed Roth was inspirational. Loved his work. I must have had a Rat Fink T-shirt back in the mid 1960s.

Wide awake and my leg feels like it is on fire. Reminds me of the bone biopsy last year x 4. Only four small tiny slits with one stitch each and it feels good not felling the screw heads under the skin. After 26 years it will be nice not to have them irritating the skin and tendons above the ankle. Still have nine screws and 4 plates left in the left ankle but those will have to stay. Don't worry I have plenty of plates and screws left holding on other pieces of the body like Frankenstein so the weather predicting radar still works. I always wonder they make you take a wheel chair to leave the hospital. If you are going to fall down and hurt yourself the hospital lobby is the perfect place to do it. So the surgeon asks if I would like a shot of morphin for the ride home I was like hell yes never pass up the good stuff. I see Boris won across the pond and he has a hotty girl friend despite having a terrible haircut. Maybe he just gets it cut at the groomer with his rescue dog Dilyn.

Sean, hoping that you got some sleep. My screws haven't bothered me lately. The ones in my ankle did for the first 5 years or so. Maybe the doctor used countersunk screws? I hope that you are doing better today. I keep a stash of pills for times like that. The lawyer's doctor friends have replenished it nicely, even if they don't give out the good stuff any more.

supposed to rain ALL DAY LONG here in NC.
gotta cigar event tonite, Drew Estates, but not sure I want to go. Instead of offering cigars to try at $2-5.00 each, they always offer buy 3 or 4 and get one free. Paying $15.00 for 3 cigars to get one free is no deal for me living on SS Income.

The screws in my plate in left forearm are my weather vane, when they start hurting I know weather is gonna change. Big Fog this morning, I can hear the dogs and cows but canβt see them, the school bus suddenly appears, field is bare, cane has been cut, waiting on check , which might not be so good as we had a hard freeze before they cut it, very unusual down here. I wish everyone good health.

Open an Etsy store and get rich! πππ

Busy Busy day Walley World, Kroger, Acadamy Sports, Thrift store, Next Tuesday and Chili's for dinner. My feet are tired and the freezer and my belly be full. No Christmas shopping just the normal things. All stores and streets busy with people spending money they don't have on gifts that people don't want.

I was able to find Glenlivet, 12 years old, on sale at $28. So, I picked up a couple of gift bottles. Always welcome.
One of my biggest thrills I ever had with Christmas giving was years ago in Los Angeles. I put my trash cans out on the street with a box reading "ATTENTION: Department of Sanitation". Inside was a bottle of good Bourbon, good Mexican Brandy and a Scotch with a note reading "Merry Christmas". The three guys who operated the garbage truck never forgot that. Every time I saw them they had a grin from ear to ear.

At least you are doing what you want to do. Does it beat driving a forklift? ππ€ It surely does! The last horse I worked on was my old Percheron. He had a bad habit of leaning on me when I held his foot too long. I know there are ways to deal with that which often involve the pointy end of the hoof rasp handle. That was not our relationship. So,I would brace my self as best I could. I used a hoof stand which helped. I miss him he was a good boy. Enjoy you day tending those peaceful gentle creatures,,,, ha ha ha!

Ah, yes...back in the day when we were civilized and recognized everyone as worthy of a notice of appreciation. Today...not so much.

We had almost 30 neighbors in today for a pot luck Christmas party..It went really well..There was lots of food. Most of it wasn't on my diet.It really hurt my feelings that I had to pass on the carrot cake.. My wife went to bed early.
