It was Martell Cognac bought on sale. I think the French may have something with this. Do you believe it will catch on?

A Coke Zero gone flat, with a clay pipe of Rimboche S.J.
The three make such an agreeable combination.

A couple of beers... But I ate too much so I can't stomach any more. Water is going down well though. Don't you drink Guinness Lite?

Coke, IMHO, is nector of the gods. I, too, enjoy a drink of Coca Cola. Only the Mexican item which has kept to an older formula. No cocaine but plenty sugar. Maybe one bottle per year. I drink very few drinks like that but my favorite is the Jamaica iced tea made at my favorite Mexican joint in Taos. This is a home made drink made from steeping hibiscus flowers in hot water and adding sugar and a little lime juice. Pronounced "Ha-My-Ka". No carbonation. Common in Mexican restaurants and enjoyed mostly at lunch the way Southerners like Sweet Tea. I cannot describe the flavor other than "fruit like". Then there is the "Arnold Palmer" which is also quite good.

Jack Daniels Rye. Which is made in Indiana by Midwest Grain Products Distillery. They do a good job. This Rye has an odd taste but I like it. I wish it were aged about two more years.

I agree with you, I’m a huge rye fan but this version just doesn’t taste like many that I’ve enjoyed. It’s still has a little bit of a bite to it which I’m imagining ian extra few years of age would smooth out nicely
