Last smoke of the day is Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09) with a black vulcanite stem. Just ordered two more pounds of it, and already have a few pounds here.

Good morning, you all. First smoke of this already hot and humid Saturday; McConnell's 'Pure Orient' in a 'Bruyère Garantie', bought at W. Ø. Larsen's in the eighties. It's completely identical to a Georg Jensen, I've got, but GJ's seconds were called 'White Star'. Strange. The tobacco is the perfect morning smoke for me; mild and friendly. (Just like me... ).
that tobacco sounds interesting (and we knew the other part, lol)

we wondered what was up with that. And we thought we had it bad over here.... It's ridiculous beyond description. Tobaccos are not allowed a delicious-sounding name, thus 'B.S. Flake' for 'Brown Sugar Flake', 'Kendal Cream Flake'.. Cream..? Can't have that, so it's now 'KC Flake' and there are more examples of this gross stupidity... They're probably afraid that children might be tempted to buy/steal a tin and eat the contents.
unbelievable.

Good morning folks. I’m beginning my day with a bowl of Amphora Original Blend in a 1954 Dunhill shell Canadian with an acrylic stem. I probably won’t be smoking much much until sunset. The mercury is supposed to hit 95 F today. So folks, stay cool, drink plenty of water and limit sun exposure.

Still talk to my friend that lives on Long Island on a daily basis, he keeps me updated. Here in NC it’s been in the 90’s for a number of days in a row! While visiting my daughter’s I can sit in a comfortable chair in my granddaughter’s room and enjoy my pipes and tobacco. It’s her Vaping area as well. At my son’s near a window sitting on my chair. Only venture outdoors here in HOT/HUMID NC in the early morning hours or when the sun goes down. I can not deal with the HOT weather anymore, really plays havoc with my neuropathy and meds! Oh, the joys of getting older🤪😂🤪
PS When I go back home Monday it’s suppose to be 102 plus degrees “ heir “! Can hardly wait...LOL

I recently got some stuff from my brick and mortar store and it's called Scottish mix. To me it looks like cigarette tobacco taste like cigarette tobacco and stinks like cigarette tobacco but this is just my opinion. I don't think I care for it very much and there's a very slim chance that I will buy it again. What I have left will probably be gifted to someone who has a palette for it.

Now smoking Lane Limited Ready Rubbed in the same Dunhill from before. I’m drinking a Canada Dry Seltzer on the rocks. It’s getting hot, so this will probably be my last pipe until tonight.
