It's ridiculous beyond description. Tobaccos are not allowed a delicious-sounding name, thus 'B.S. Flake' for 'Brown Sugar Flake', 'Kendal Cream Flake'.. Cream..? Can't have that, so it's now 'KC Flake' and there are more examples of this gross stupidity... They're probably afraid that children might be tempted to buy/steal a tin and eat the contents.
unbelievable. Indeed, but so far we've avoided the disgusting and utterly tasteless photos of black, gangrened toes, crying parents at a child's coffin and foetuses in ashtrays on the tobacco tins. DW has them on her cigarette packs, though. I'm just waiting to see photos of deceased livers in living colours on the liquor - and wine bottles.

Good morning, you all. First smoke of this already hot and humid Saturday; McConnell's 'Pure Orient' in a 'Bruyère Garantie', bought at W. Ø. Larsen's in the eighties. It's completely identical to a Georg Jensen, I've got, but GJ's seconds were called 'White Star'. Strange. The tobacco is the perfect morning smoke for me; mild and friendly. (Just like me... ).
that tobacco sounds interesting (and we knew the other part, lol) It really is a great tobacco; nothing but orientals. I'm still searching for the flavour and smell of my old Egyptian cigarettes, Simon Artz 70L, which I smoked on and off in the 1960s, but so far, no luck. About the other part, I'm still trying to convince DW.

I.R. Three Star Blue in my Don Warren Morta Poker Pipe with a straight shank and stem. This pipe was made to my specifications, as far as the size of the bowl and chamber dimensions. Great smoker and well crafted.

In purpose i delay to watch the BBC Sherlock tv-series with Benedict Cumberbatch because i don't like the plot, i am watching them only because i am great fan of Sherlock Holmes and if someone asks me i had to say that i have seen them. After 3 tries finally in the 4th i manage to finish tonight the Episode 3 of Season 4. OK what's next on the 5 Season? Sherlock and Mycroft are not brothers from the same parents because Ms Hudson is their real mother and Dr Watson is the child of Ms Hudson secret marriage and Moriarty as we know him isn't the guy that we see because has a twin brother which is the informer of the NWO dictator which will come from Mars to rule the Earth so Sherlock must search to find the solution inside the Middle Earth in which must travel back in time with the help of Dr Watson's sister which is the woman who killed Mary Watson which of course was not real but a duplicate which...THAT'S ENOUGH !
I am smoking Treasures of Ireland Shannon, after smoking i will taste ice cream with cherry.

Now smoking the last of this tin of MacBaren Mystery Blend in an old favorite smooth 1977 Medley (GBD second) medium bend billiard with a flat underside with a black vulcanite stem. Haven't smoked this pipe in a long time, but it's seen years of heavy duty. Ice water and bergs is my evening drink. Watching the Indians-A's game.

...breaking in a NOS Falcon bowl (eBay find from Utah, of all places) on an appropriate era well-loved Falcon straight stem with "Molto Dolce", California Merlot on the side. Letting the tobacco dry until this evening. Merlot will still be on the side tonight.

Sitting on the porch at St Simons Island, GA with the dog. Smoking some Mac Baren Virginia No.1 after finishing a great meal of pulled pork from Southern Soul BBQ with their Hot Southern Soul sauce and a glass of sweet tea. The citrus is really singing! Man, I love this little barrier island.

Peter Stokkebye Luxury Bullseye date on jar 2009 in my Aldo Velani smooth briar Octagonal pipe with a wide stem. This pipe has a stunning grain. I paid under $35.00 on eBay delivered a while back. The pipe is NOS and an excellent smoking pipe. Comfortable to clench or hold with a wide stem that has a nice looking design 👍
