I might try some wild Atlantic if it's a good crossover.

I might try some wild Atlantic if it's a good crossover. it's not really a crossover, it just tastes like it has a sweet topping to me. Or, the Virginias are more heavily cased with honey or sugar.

MacBaren Vanilla Cream Flake is a fantastic smoke. It’s the only aromatic I keep on hand. It actually tastes like tobacco when you smoke it. And it totes a decent nic hit, which is important to me. And I get many complements on its fragrance when I smoke it. It really smells very pleasant and makes me crave a bowl of vanilla ice cream. Lol

I’ve been smoking this Russ’ Fudge Cake and I’m loving it. A not so sweet chocolate taste but it doesn’t overpower the tobacco. You still get some great tobacco flavors on top of the chocolate and makes the car and house smell great.

This time of year, as I am pretty sure I said earlier in this thread, maybe, I don't know, I smoke a few aromatics. Especially the pomegranate-sauced C&D Founding Fathers, C&D Golden Days of Yore, and Sutliff's Vanilla Custard. Very "Christmasy" tobaccos.

I'm not much of an Aromatic smoker preffering straight va's but I've found two recently that are ALL va, no burley and both smoke cool and dry with no goop at the end. First is Peterson's DeLuxe Mixture a blend of African and Brazilian Va's and Black Virginia Cavendish that has a light sweet vanila topping and smokes cool and dry till the end of the bowl. The other is also a Peterson blend, Connoisseur's Choice also an all Virginia based blend consisting of Va, Black Cavendish and Red Virginia that has a maple/vanila flavoring added. You get the aroma from the flavoring in the tin and in the room note but it's just there in the smoke. Dosn't overpower the sweetness of the red va and black cav. It also smokes cool, dry and slow till the bottom of the bowl. No goop just grey dry ash at the end ! I reccomend both !

I find it difficult to work with unless I put it in the coffee grinder for 5 seconds.

For old time's sake I lit up a bowl of Stokkebye Nougat at the flea market yesterday, it was an enjoyable smoke and passers by talking among themselves made sure they said loud enough for me to hear that they liked it too.
One old fart walked by me though, and clamshelled his fingers around his nose and mouth as he walked by me, so that he wouldn't die... He drove back up to park next to me in the designated smoking area, and stood outside his car doing the same thing to obviously make a statement while he waited for his riders.
I wanted so badly to ask him why he left his man card at home, but I held my piece.... He is an Illinois snowbird, plate holder said Chicago...that figures.

I just take from the tin load in two pinches, light and start smoking!

Lane Vanilla Black Cavendish and Peter Stokkebye Optimum have great room note. My daughter loves it when I smoke Optimum. She says it makes her crave a fruit salad.
