A misaligned logo is nothing. I bought a cob recently and all the corn had been eaten off! 😂😂😂😂 That was one of the funniest things I've heard in a long time. |

Really unfortunate but maybe peterson isn't the way to go if you're into details. It's something I've learnt in all this. When I go to Dublin peterson shop in October, I'll check to see the alignment. |

The pursuit of aesthetic perfection detracts from
the perfection of the moment.Faulting SP for distributing
line items that are less than perfect is like faulting
Walmart for a folded page in a book.They order several,
dozens,or even hundreds of different pipes and use
pictures supplied to them or maybe one of each item they open
for the sales pages.The others are stacked into bins and not
opened until they reach the consumer.Yes there may be packing
material sticking out,that doesn't mean that SP opened the box.
If you found teeth marks or scratches I'ld be more compassionate.
However at $200 dollars for a line pipe,I would accept the logo
off kilter,probably wouldn't notice.But then I haven't spent
that much on a pipe,or a tobacco order.I like that Sav spigot,
but it's about $175 out of my market.Finding out you are a
"proofreader" explains alot though.So,good luck in your endevors
to find that aesthetically perfect pipe.

Honestly I have not been to their site in quite awhile,but could you share where you got this information.I myself am going on what I have witnessed of local retailers selling multiple objects. They don't open every container for ads.Now single or consignment sales are a complete different matter. |

I’m also extremely OCD, so I always spend more money for the very best in all my hobbies so I don’t have to worry about these things. While they do claim this, if you look earlier in this thread you’ll notice my first Peterson pipe did not appear to be the same one pictured. Maybe it was a one off mistaken their part, I’m not sure |

Ended up just getting a $30 Bruyere st. Claude straight billiard everybody! It’s perfect without any defects. What an adventure lol.

Now you can continue your adventure and hang around here. Also, like has been said before, there are a few people here who you could commission to make a pipe for you... That would be awesome. I wish I had the money to do that myself. Since money is not as constraining for you that would be a prefect option (imo). Anyway, let us know how your pipe goes for you. |
